EMC VNXe3200 Express Solutions Tutorial
This tutorial will help you rapidly position, qualified, and quote VNXe3200 to your prospects.
Express Solutions simplifies selling and makes the transaction faster. Seven fixed
configurations were created for the VNXe3200 based on customer feedback and market
trends. We believe these fixed configurations will meet the majority of entry-level
requirements.
The VNXe3200 Express Solutions configurations are summarized below:
• The VNXe3200 Entry System is the least expensive, dual-controller configuration
with six SAS drives and a list price of $11,999.
•
The VNXe3200 Base and Enhanced Capacity Solutions are targeted to highavailability block and file use cases for general purpose needs.
•
The VNXe3200 Base and Enhanced Consolidation Solutions are targeted to mixed,
virtualized workloads running VMware or Hyper-V with above average performance
requirements. The Base Consolidation Solution includes a mix of SAS and NL-SAS
and 15TB, while the Enhanced Consolidation Solution includes a 3 Tier Flashoptimized hybrid configuration includes FAST Suite for autotiering and SSD caching
across SSD, SAS, and NL-SAS drives (53 TB capacity).

The VNXe3200 Base Performance Solution is targeted for high-performance
requirements for workloads such as databases and VDI
•
The VNXe3200 Flash Configuration is targeted for extremely high performance
requirements for workloads such as databases and VDI and can achieve beyond
50,000 IOPS.
