TEACHING

A total of 27 courses (UG and PG) are taught during two semesters
of a calendar year.
Till date, more than 102 students (70 M.Sc. & 32 PhD) have
completed their degree and are employed in different public and
private sector organizations.
Approval of two certificate courses one each for protected
cultivation of vegetables and protected cultivation of cut flowers
Publication of two manuals one each in hybrid seed production and
commercial floriculture.
Establishment of six modified naturally ventilated polyhouses
under earn while you learn programme
Establishment of a computer lab, tissue culture lab and postgraduate
lab under DST-FIST sponsored project.
Establishment of protected structures and greenhouses for
commercial cultivation, nuclear seed production and effective
teaching by germplasm conservation.
