Phase 1 Project Value. • • • The approximate total project value R1.3m. The Phased project value is about R12.5-million. (ref. latest 6 phase cost breakdown ex BJ&P (increase due to phasing & and escalation) for the entire project The Project Value: R1 200 000.00-High eaves walkway, old school front eaves fan, two permanent hatches including roof ladders at north gable, temporary hatch at North Nave. Duration: Project start-up was early in October,2012, The duration is deemed to be 3 months The project handover date will be on 7-12-2012 that is the latest finishing date.(LF) Latest Developments & Progress : • The Cathedral Council mandated the phase1on 07-06-2012, • The implementation schedule as at14-11-2012is included, • The Phase 1 of this project is on track as scheduled, • Additional unforeseen items executed.(contingencies), • A contingency of R50 000.00 was allowed in the budget of R1.3m for contingencies, • Approximately R30 000.00 was spent to date on these contingencies. • These items were: • 1)Repair and lead lining of a gutter, • 2)Replacing missing Soakers, • We are currently awaiting a close out report as prepared by the Architects and Quantity Surveyors.
