What is NTPEP?
• Technical Service under Standing Committee on
Highways (SCOH)
• Product Evaluation and Audit Program
ƒ By combined and collective resources, AASHTO state
members can more efficiently perform laboratory and
field testing on products used in the transportation
system.
• Source of Data
ƒ Unbiased product data generated by laboratory test
methods and field test deck evaluations adopted from
national standards or developed by AASHTO
members.

• 44 states responded to survey
• Results of this survey will be available on
NTPEP website, www.ntpep.org this month

ƒ The number of individuals who volunteer their
time to NTPEP will also be listed on the NTPEP
website
ƒ Results will be in a new format, compared to
previous years

2014 Annual NTPEP Meeting
• May 18th-May 22nd, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency in
Greenville, SC
• Registration and meeting details can be accessed
through NTPEP website, www.ntpep.org
• A technical tour of TRI will be conducted on
Tuesday (May 20th) afternoon
• Each state who pays their annual NTPEP
contribution is able to send one individual to the
meeting, using the NTPEP scholarship for their
state
