assises and interbeds of sands, siltstones and very fine sandstones, dense and unconsolidated,

polymistic, clayed, micaceous, interbeded with dolomitic marls, limestones, sometimes micaceous
argillites, sometimes limey and dolomites. Clays interbeded with fine-grained and very fine-grained
sand, volcanic ash, shelly limestones and sandstones.
Clays, in places claystone-like, psammitic, micaceous, opoka-like, pyritized, bedded argillites,
micaceous, sometimes coal, interbedded with consertal sandstones, quartz, clayed, conglomerates,

Limestones and dolomites, fine-grained and differently grained, sometimes brecciform,
massive, often fine-cavern and crumbling, irregular clayed, in some places silicified, dolomites
often limey. Interbedding of silty and very often plastered clays, siltstones, medium-grained and
fine- grained sandstones, quartz, poorly consolidated, argillites, thin-slabby, limey, crystalline
anhydrites, gypsums, marls. Large-grained rock-salt with interbeds of clay, marls, anhydrites and
dolomites.
Siltstones and dolomites. Siltstones are organogenous and clastic, fine- and very fine-grained,
pelitomorphic, in some places overcrystallized, massive, crumbling, fine-cavern, often dolomitic,
in varying degrees of silicification, sometimes pyritized, with interbeds of clay and anhydride and
gypsum patches. Dolomites, fine- and very fine-grained, pelitomorphic, dense and irregular porous,
sometimes massive, in some places fine-cavern, crumbling, rarely clayed, anhydrite, plastered,
with anhydrite and silicon patches. Interbedding of clays and clayed psammitic shales, micaceous,
quartz siltstones, clayed, carbonic, fine-grained and large grained sandstones, sometimes porous,
quartz, polymistic, micaceous, carbonic, in some places conglomerates and gravelstones.
Siltstones and dolomites. Siltstones, organogenous and clastic, pelitomorphic, very fine-grained,
bedded with overcrystollized, porous and cavern, often dolomitic, silicified, anhydrite, bituminous,
sometimes bedded with marls and oil shale. Dolomites, fine- and very fine-grained, overcrystallized,
dense, unevenly porous, sometimes massive, fine-cavern, with anhydrite and silicon patches.
Argillites, shaly, conchoidal, siltstones and quartz sandstones, carbonic, fine- and very fine-grained
sandstones, sometimes bedded with mineral coal and coal shales.
Limestones, ogranogenic, organogenic and clastic, fine-grained, pelitomorphic, sometimes
silicified, sometimes clayed and bituminous, dolomitic, crumbling and cavern. Dolomites, finegrained, in some places silicified, with gypsum patches, interlayers of thin-bedded clay and marls.
Argillites, sometimes silicified, siltstones and fine-grained sandstones, quartz, clay shales, cherts,
andesites, andesite-basalts.

SMALL-SCALE CORE BARREL YKC-Y-109/67
Due to the spread of old well stock reanimation works by drilling horizontal sideholes with the
purpose of oil recovery intensification and its full extraction there is a necessity for reliable geological information about subsurface conditions. UDOL’s engineers with a direct assistance of
leading core recovery experts have designed a universal core barrel YKC-Y-109/67 for data collection on the condition of core layers in the horizontal wellbore.
Universal small-scale core barrel YKC-Y--109/67 is used for drilling with core collection in vertical, horizontal and directional wells and is assembled with downhole motors or a rotary table.
A small overall core barrel length (4 m) and its flexible joint allow to core with an angle increase
therefore it does not interfere with the drilling program. YKC-Y--109/67 is used with a core lifter
with an increased core receiver length (6 mm) for core recovery in the wellbore with a small drift
angle as well as in the vertical and horizontal sections.
UDOL’s PDC core bits sized 118/67, 120.6/67, 122/67, 138.1/67 and 139.7/67 for different formations as well as different types of core breakers (including a collet with a diamond coating) were
designed considering all features of YKC-Y--109/67 core barrel and their combined application
allows to receive a very high percentage of core recovery.

CORE BREAKERS
UDOL produces core breakers for the
majority of Russian core barrel types
such as YKR, SKU, YKCS-Y, etc., as well
as for foreign “DBS Security” and “Baker
Hughes”.
UDOL core breakers with their use of
different types of cutters from spade cutter
for soft and loose formations to double
collet-type for hard formations provide 100
% core recovery in formations of various
drillability rates. For reliable core breaking
and catching collet fingers are coated with
hard-alloy hardfacing, which ensures a
quick core break-off from the bottom hole.
Hard alloy diamond hardfacing, that is
applied on the internal surface of the collet
ensures reliable core retention during its
recovery.
To reduce core washout while drilling, core
breakers are provided with an additional
barrel that stops the mud from effecting
the core.
ЗDue to fingers of the rotating shoe,
the core catcher stays fixed during core
recovery. Because of that core friction on
pipe walls is reduced, which results in the
increase of the core recovery percentage.

HARD-ALLOY BITS
UDOL hard alloy bits have been designed for drilling-out of cement plugs and metal details of
casing bottom and liners, lowered into horizontal sideholes.
High wear resistance of cutting elements, absence of a weak rotating element in bearing arrangement that is typical for roller cone bits make bits of this line highly effective for breaking
down rubber and metal elements of the casing, as well as for drilling through cement sleeves and
plugs, while reducing risks of accidents.
Combined clearing system with washover ports directed to each cutting plate improves well
cleaning quality and its clearing from cuttings, as well as cools down the cutting plate more efficiently.

LINER HANGING EQUIPMENT
UDOL has designed and set up a production line of eight main types of liner hanging equipment
∅ 101.6 mm and 114 mm TGS-type of different configurations and functions for various geological and technical conditions.
A use of retrievable setting tool BM.YU not only allows to safely cement by means of an advance
disconnection with a following possibility of drill string reciprocation during cement slurry injection and displace, but also reduces well casing cost.

A retrievable drillable packer PRS-112 is applied
together with a hydraulic head GP-112 as a sealing for
annular space separation from lost circulation zones
by isolating these zones in 124 mm wells, and as an
isolator for the bottom part of the borehole to create a
plugged back total depth.
The paker is designed to be applied in two situations:
1. With a plug as a shutoff bridge
2. With an end-to-end channel for a possibility of
cementing operation after packing
.
A retrievable drillable packer PRS-195 is applied
together with the hydraulic head GP-195 as a sealing
for annular space separation from lost circulation
zones by isolating these zones in 215.9 mm wells, and
as an isolator for the bottom part of the borehole to
create a plugged back total depth.

A reverse Y-CODE valve is used together with the down hole motor while drilling oil and gas wells
to prevent the motor from sludging-up.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
• A ball-and-seat is manufactured from tungsten carbide to prolong valve life;
• An individual adjustment of the ball-and-seat ensures the valve is sealed;
• A spring undergoes a chemical heat treatment for protection from washout;
• Valve design allows to perform its maintenance in field conditions.

Hydraulics jet disperser is used for solid phase grinding
and for liquid phase emulsification by means of hydraulics
«stream into stream» effect of drill and cementing muds and
special– purpose liquids during their preparation and treatment while constructing and doing workover operations of oil
and gas wells.
Its use allows to considerably reduce materials consumption
while preparing, treating and weighting drill muds and to increase well casing quality.
