More detailed information coming soon... newsletter for Bestbuy Shareholders SPRING 2014 AGM 2014 RECAP Bestbuy Shareholders from across Canada gathered in Mississauga for our 60th Annual General Meeting on February 21st, The Friday meeting was informative and highlighted the achievements Bestbuy enjoyed in 2013, and future success going forward with a positive ‘WELCOME TO PROGRESS’ theme. A full-morning agenda was capped off with several different industry speakers in the afternoon. The AGM wasn’t all business... there was a large turnout of 185 for the Friday evening cocktails & dinner! Shareholders and suppliers savoured the delectable taste of California, New Zealand & Australia, which was inspired by ‘The Club’ 2015 Shareholder Incentive trip. Lisa Bailey of Auto Magic and Claudio Sceppacerqua of The Young Automotive Professionals were presented with a Bestbuy Service Recognition Plaque at the AGM dinner. VisionOE were recognized for their excellence in service, sales performance and support to Bestbuy. Vendor Michael Westrom of Continental, was the winner of the Sick Kids raffle draw held that evening. Wynford Motivation Works provided the $1000.00 raffle prize donation. Our proclaimed Board of Directors presented a $35,000 cheque to The Family Heart Centre at the Hospital For Sick Children. Dr. Robert Hamilton, Director of Cardiology was on-hand to except the donation. Bestbuy has been supporting this worthy cause since 1986 and has contributed in excess of $680,000.00!
