九州大学大学院比較社会文化研究院は「男女共同参画社会基本法」の精神ならびに「九
州大学における男女共同参画」（平成 22 年 4 月 1 日付）の理念・方針に則り、女性教
員の公募を行います*。
*「男女雇用機会均等法」第 8 条（女性労働者に係る措置に関する特例）の規定によ
り、女性教員の割合が相当程度少ない現状を積極的に改善するための措置として女性に
限定した公募を実施します。

３．専門分野：ジェンダー・セクシュアリティ、フェミニズム研究に関わる社会学、
もしくはそれらに関わるカルチュラル・スタディーズの分野

４．担当予定授業科目：専門分野に関する学部・大学院の専攻教育科目（国際コース
科目を含む）および基幹教育科目
５．応募資格：
１）博士の学位を有する方、および着任時に博士の学位を取得する見込みの方。
２）英語による教育・研究指導をおこなう能力のある方。
３）大学院地球社会統合科学府での大学院一般・国際コース、および本学基幹教
育・学部等での授業、ならびに統合的学際性に立脚した教育・研究指導に取
り組む意欲のある方。
４）国籍は問いませんが、担当業務を果たすうえで支障のない日本語能力を有す
る方。
５）大学運営に熱意をもって取り組む意欲がある方。
６. 採用予定日：平成29年10月1日

１）履歴書（半年以内に撮影した写真貼付。高等学校以降の学歴、職歴、受賞歴、
所属学会、住所、Emailアドレスを明記、押印すること）

２）研究業績リスト（著書、査読あり原著論文、査読なし原著論文、学会発表、
外部資金獲得歴、その他を区分すること）
３）主要著書・論文の別刷（3 編[コピー可]、各々1000 字程度の要約を添付)
４）英語による講義シラバス（大学院での専門分野の演習科目において 15 週間
分の授業日程を含むもの）
５）これまでの研究概要と着任後の研究計画（2000 字程度）
６）これまでの教育実績と着任後の抱負（2000 字程度）
７）応募者の教育研究内容等につき照会が可能な方 2 名の氏名、職名と連絡先

２）比較社会文化研究院における選考過程では、面接審査をおこなう場合があり

The Faculty of Social and Cultural Studies of Kyushu University in Japan is
now actively recruiting an academic woman researcher for the “Women Researchers
Promotion Program”, according to its policy of “Supporting Positive Activities for
Female Researchers”*
*
Under Article 8 of the Equal Employment Opportunity Law (Special Provisions
of Measures Pertaining to Women Workers) , in order to actively improve the
present situation that the percentage of women researchers is considerably
low, applicants are limited to women researchers only.
1. Number of Positions: one full-time tenured position for a rank of Lecturer.
2. Affiliation: Division of Cultural Dynamics, Department of Cultural Studies,
Faculty of Social and Cultural Studies.
3. Research Field: Sociology and Cultural Studies with emphases on Gender
and/or Sexuality Studies and Feminism Studies.
4. Teaching Duty: Undergraduate and graduate level courses in the field specified
above 3.
5. Qualifications:
1) Ph.D. obtained or expect to complete the degree prior to the date of
appointment.
2) Ability in researching and teaching in English.
3) Ability in teaching graduate level courses including those offered as part of
International Program as well as undergraduate level courses both in
Japanese and English.
4) Level of proficiency in Japanese high enough for administrative work.
5) Willingness for sharing administrative work.
6. Starting Date: October 1, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
7. Application materials: Candidates are requested to submit the following
documents (copies are acceptable).
A) Curriculum Vitae (with a recent passport-size photo attached).

*Refereed articles should be marked as such.
B) Copies of your sample work (3 articles maximum). Each article should
be accompanied with a summary of 400 words.
C) A Sample of syllabus, in English, to be used for a graduate seminar.
D) Summary of your previous research and plans for research after
appointment (800 words).
E) Summary of your teaching experience and plans for teaching after
appointment (800 words).
F) Names, titles, affiliations and (e-mail) addresses of two persons familiar
with your work (references).

2) Candidates may be requested to come for an interview conducted by the
Faculty of Sciences. Interview transportation costs are to be borne by each
candidate.
