Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar Foundation Day Week celebrations CGS Hospital was the Gold Sponsor of the G.B. Pantnagar University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar Foundation Day week celebrations from 16th to 21st November 2015. Situated in the newly formed state of Uttarakhand, Pantnagar is a small peaceful town amidst nature’s beauty. The University was dedicated to the nation by the first Prime Minister, Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru on 17th November 1960. This vast campus imparts knowledge to over 5000 students through its constituent colleges in the fields of Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Basic Sciences and Humanities, Fisheries, Home Science and Post graduate studies. A team of four veterinarians from CGS Hospital, Dr. Mahendran, Dr. Vikash Singh, Dr. Vaibhav Bishnoi and Dr. Salisha Correia actively participated in the mega event on 17th and 18th November 2015. CGS Hospital was proud to be a sponsor of the University Convocation on 17th November 2015, presided over by the President of India, Dr. Pranab Mukherjee. The Pant University alumni named Alumni Alma mater Advancement Association (4A) hosted its Alumni Meet on 18th November 2015 with the theme “Awakening of Advancement in Science and Technology.” Addressing the final year budding veterinarians from the University and alumni, we presented a brief orientation on our Hospital stressing on our aims as well as the services, facilities and expertise offered. An interactive discussion with Dr. Mahendran followed, wherein students enquired about the Hospital, its future endeavours, training & internship programs. Distinguished veterinarians employed in other sectors also participated keenly in the discussion and were quite happy about the progress of CGS Hospital in Gurgaon and hoped for our establishment at other locations.
