[到達度目標]


participate actively in a formal discussion

give a clear, systematically developed presentation on a topic within their field

take follow up questions from members of the audience
[コース概要]
This course is designed to train participants in academic discussion and presentation skills. The
focus of the lessons will be to enable participants to speak more effectively in English by
providing both the language and the productive and interactive communication skills the
students require including pronunciation. There will be a strong emphasis on learning through
doing, so the participants will have plenty of chance for practice through taking part in academic
discussions and delivering presentations, with feedback from the teacher.
At the end of the course participants will be expected to deliver a presentation about an
academic topic within their field and take questions from the audience. Students will be
encouraged to speak English in class at all times.
