Am Cologne Center for Comparative Politics, Lehrstuhl für Europapolitik (Prof. Sven-Oliver
Proksch), der Universität zu Köln ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine Stelle als
Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/in
in Teilzeit (19,92 Wochenstunden) (50% Position) zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist für vier Jahre
befristet. Sofern die entsprechenden tariflichen Voraussetzungen vorliegen, richtet sich die
Vergütung nach der Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L.
Aufgaben:
Ihre Aufgaben liegen im Bereich Mitarbeit in Lehre und Forschung sowie in der
Durchführung eines Promotionsvorhabens, wobei die Forschungs- und Lehrziele im Bereich
der Vergleichenden Politik mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Europa (Institutionen, Parteien, oder
Repräsentation) liegen sollte. Der oder die erfolgreiche Bewerber/-in wird sowohl in das
Cologne Center for Comparative Politics als auch in die Cologne Graduate School integriert.

guter
politikwissenschaftlicher
Hochschulabschluss (MA), profunde Kenntnisse in quantitativen Methoden, sowie sehr gute
Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

The Chair for European Politics (Prof. Sven-Oliver Proksch) at the Cologne Center for
Comparative Politics (CCCP) at the University of Cologne invites applications for the
position of a
Doctoral Researcher (m/f)
Fellow in Comparative Politics
with a weekly working time of 19,92 hours (50% position).The initial contract is for 4 years
and will be awarded as soon as possible. The salary is according to public pay group based
on the German E13 TV-L scale if terms and conditions under collective bargaining law are
fulfilled.
Tasks:
The position involves the development and completion of a PhD project related to European
politics (institutions, parties, or representation), as well as participation in teaching (2 hours
per week) and research activities. The doctoral research fellow will be integrated into the
Cologne Center for Comparative Politics.
The successful applicant is expected to hold an excellent Masters degree in political
science, have profound knowledge in quantitative research methods, and excellent English
skills.
