What is a „Smart Home Unit“?

Innovative Smart Home Units are linked to an user friendly Smartphone-/tablet
application “Wohlfühl-APP”(“Feel good App”) with practical hints for individual
energy savings options based on individual behavior patterns

Basic Smart Home Units are equipped with sensors for indoor humidity and room
temperature
▪
Additional services can be purchased
Which are the main contributing elements of a “Smart Home Unit“ for a Smart
City?

Basic units facilitate individual data collection in private homes to support tenants to
lower their individual energy consumption via adapting their behavior
▪
Offers new service options for tenants like energy saving, health care services and
security services in private homes
▪
Can be easily installed in private homes and guarantees long lasting service (5 years)
How many “Smart Home Units“ will be installed within the project-area?

The project partner Securitas will install up to 400 units in buildings in the project area
Each individual housing unit obtains one base unit and 2 sensor units for 2 different
rooms
When will the first “Smart Home Units“ be installed?

Interested private homes can be equipped in Q3 2017
