Einville-au-Jard est une bourgade très ancienne, située sur l’axe Lyon - Cologne à l’époque romaine.
Plus tard, ce fut un lieu prisé des Ducs de Lorraine, un
village fortifié.
Stanislas Leczinski y fait construire un magnifique château
au cœur de village, certains vestiges subsistent encore.
Son patrimoine naturel est riche, bois, forêt, rivière. Son
patrimoine industriel lié à l’exploitation du sel, à l’activité
agricole, à la meunerie, à la brasserie, est important.
Einville-au-Jard mérite d’être découvert.
Einville-au-Jard ist ein sehr alter kleiner Marktflecken, der auf der Achse Lyon gelegt ist - Köln damals,
das römisch ist. Später war das ein von den Herzögen von
Lothringen geschnupfte Ort, ein gestärktes Dorf.
Stanislas Leczinski läßt ihm ein großartiges Schloß in der
Mitte des Dorfes bauen, gewisse Überreste existieren
noch. Sein natürliches Erbe ist, Holz, Wald, Fluß reich.
Sein industrielles Erbe, das mit der Ausnutzung von Salz,
mit der landwirtschaftlichen Tätigkeit, mit dem meunerie
verbunden ist, ist wichtig.

Einville-au-Jard is a very old tewn, situated on the
road linking Lyon to Cologne in Roman times. Later
on, it became a fortified village, appriciated by the Dukes
de Lorraine.
Stanislas Leczinski ordered the construction of a magnificent castle in the center of the village. Seme remains still
exist.
Einville has a rich natural patrimony (woods, river, forests)
and an important industrial patrimony, due to salt mining,
agriculture and milling.
Einville-au-Jard is worth discovering.
