Ruud Delwel started his own
research group at the Erasmus MC
in 1992. Using the retrovirus
approach he identified a large
number of novel transforming
genes in mouse leukemias. In
1999, he became Associate Professor and in 2010 Professor “Molecular Leukemogenesis” at the Hematology department. He is one of
the Course Directors of the MSc
Molecular Medicine program at
Erasmus MC.
