Ludger Woessmann gave a presentation on “Das Wissenskapital der Nationen: Deutschland im internationalen
Bildungsvergleich” at „Reflexionen – Der Deutschland-Dialog“ of the Bundesverband deutscher Banken on
November 3. He gave presentations on “Integration durch Qualifikation: Einige Anmerkungen aus
bildungsökonomischer Sicht“ at the ifo Branchendialog at the IHK Akademie in München on November 9, at the
Wissenschaftliche DJI-Jahrestagung of the Deutsches Jugendinstitut in Berlin on November 30, and at the annual
meeting of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Bildungsverwaltung (DGBV) in Munich on December 1. He also
participated in the panel discussion “Bricks or clicks: the future of education in the digital age” of the Munich
Center for Internet Research (MCIR) of the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften in Munich on October 18.
