50th Anniversary des MGC im Jahre 2017: Neueste Informationen zu diversen Anlässen
MGC-Jubiläums-Anlass in England: Das MGC-Register des MG Car Club UK organisiert für den 7. bis 11. Juni in
Droitwich, England (südwestlich von Birmingham) in England einen Jubläums-Anlass. Zu diesem Anlass sind nebst
den MGC auch andere MG-Typen herzlichst eingeladen. Es haben sich per dato bereits 142 zumeist MGC, MGCGT
und MGC GTS angemeldet. Darunter sind auch 6 MGC aus der Schweiz. Bist auch Du an einer Teilnahme an diesem
aussergewöhnlichen und sicher historischen Event interessiert – siehe auch beigelegte Info – so kannst Du Dich direkt
online auf http://www.mgcc.co.uk/mgc-register/mgc-register-50th-anniversary/ anmelden.
Die Anmeldung zum MGC-Jubiläums-Anlass in England müssen die Teilnehmer eigens vornehmen.
Schweizer Teilnehmer am MGC-Meeting mit anschliessendem MG-Live Event in England:
Wir vom schweizerischen MGC-Register planen den Besuch des Meetings in England und orgaisieren eine
gemeinsame Reise nach England. Es ist nun bestätigt, dass der MG-Live Event am nachfolgenden Wochenende vom
17. und 18. Juni stattfinden wird. Dementsprechend kann man einen ausgedehnteren Besuch in England vorsehen.
Das MGC-Register in England hat auch bereits Anfragen zu Aktivitäten in der Verbindungs-Woche vom 12. bis 16.
Juni erhalten. Wir werden gemeinsam eine Tour mit diversen Attraktionen zusammenstellen: Morgan-Factory-Tour,
Black Country Museum in Dudley, Stratford-upon-Avon (Geburtsort von Shakespeare), British Motor Museum in
Gaydon, MGCC Club-House in Abingdon usw. (Inputs von Euch willkommen). Die Abfahrt ist für den PfingstSonntag den 4. Juni sowie die Rückkehr spätestens für den Dienstag 20. Juni vorgesehen.
MGC-Register Switzerland 50th Anniversary: Jubiläums-MGC-Ausfahrt in der Zentralschweiz
Das MGC-Register führt am Sonntag 2. Juli 2017 (eventuell Anreise am Samstag 1. Juli) eine 1-tägige JubiläumsAusfahrt in der Zentralschweiz durch.
MGC-Register Switzerland 50th Anniversary: Jubiläums-MGC-Meeting im Schwarzwald
Das MGC-Register führt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem MG Car Club Deutschland und den kontinental-europäischen
MGC-Register vom 13. bis 17. September ein 5-tägiges Jubiläums-Meeting in Schönwald bei Triberg im malerischen
Mittel- und Hoch-Schwarzwald durch.

MGC 50th Anniversary
event programme
Wednesday 7th June 2017
We will be welcoming our guests at Chateau‐Impney from 3pm onwards in
the reception area. Dinner will commence from 7.30pm.
Thursday 8th June 2017
Our ﬁrst day will be a road run to the Royal Air Force Cosford Air Museum. We
will enjoy a lunch in Hanger 1 and then enjoy the splendours of the museum
for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner back at Chateau‐Impney from 7.30pm.
Friday 9th June 2017
Depart from Chateau‐Impney to spend the day at Gloucestershire/
Warwickshire Railway, where we will have exclusive use of the Station and
Steam Train for the day, including lunch. Dinner back at Chateau‐Impney
from 7.30pm.
Saturday 10th June 2017
Today we have a traditional MGC Show Day at Chateau‐Impney with a full
programme of events throughout the day, with our Gala Dinner and prize
giving in the evening from 7.30pm
Sunday 11th June 2017
Depart from Chateau‐Impney for a scenic tour to our lunch time stop at The
Fleece (National Trust), with afternoon entertainment, before we say
farewell & thank you to all attendees and wish you a safe journey home.
Monday 12th June 2017
For those choosing to stay in the area, we hope to have details on a visit to
Gaydon, The British Motor Museum and other venues within the area.
Alternative accommodation is now available very close to the venue.
