Proposals for papers
You are cordially invited to the 9th International Sympo­
sium on Modern Principles of Air Monitoring and Bio­
monitoring (AIRMON 2017).
Please submit your proposal for one of the following
topics:
Proposals for papers must be submitted online via the
website of the symposium. The deadline for submissions
is 30 November 2016.

Since the first forum in 1993 in Norway, AIRMON has
become a steady appointment for the newest research
results and future trends in the characterization of expo­
sure to chemical and biological agents at workplaces
and in the environment. AIRMON is organized by an inter­
national consortium of research institutes.
In 2017, the Institut für Arbeitsschutz der Deutschen
Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (IFA) in Germany will be
the symposiums host for the first time in the history of
­AIRMON. The symposium will be held in Dresden on the
river Elbe, a place that will set a perfect framework for
fruitful and inspiring exchanges.
We look forward to seeing you in Saxonia in 2017.

Working language
The symposium will be held in English. English will also
be used for all documentation and the website of the
symposium.
The authors will be informed of the Scientific Committee‘s
decision by mid-January 2017.
Publication
All abstracts accepted for oral and poster presentation
will be published at the symposium website and in the
book of abstracts as part of the symposium documen­
tation.
Authors will be offered the opportunity to have their
papers published in a leading scientific journal after the
symposium.
Poster session
A special poster session will be held in addition to the
oral presentations.

Registration will start on 1 November 2016.
Registration will be possible only online, via the website
www.dguv.de/ifa/airmon2017.
Accepted speakers will benefit from a reduced registration fee.
