Als Geflüchtete unterstützen wir Sie insbesondere mit kostenlosen Deutsch-/
Englisch-Intensivkursen bereits ab dem Frühjahr 2017 bevor Sie dann mit dem
Masterstudiengang im September 2017 beginnen. Zulassungsvoraussetzung
ist ein Bachelor-Abschluss und erste Berufserfahrung im Bereich Medien.

International Media Studies (IMS)
The bilingual IMS Master’s program prepares you for careers in the communications
and media sectors. You’ll study full-time for four semesters with young Media
professionals from all over the world and share Classes in journalism, Media
economics, and Media Management at the Deutschen Welle Akademie in Bonn.
Your profile
The DW Academy educates talented young professionals from around the world. As
a refugee we particularly support you with intensive language courses in German
and in English, free of charge. The courses will start early in spring 2017.The
master’s degree courses will follow in the fall semester 2017. Prerequisites include
a bachelor’s degree and first professional work experience in the media sector.

Is it possible to study as a refugee in Germany?
As a refugee, you are generally allowed to study in Germany. You can apply for the
Master’s degree course IMS, if you fulfill the admission requirements.
