IMC Platform Licensing
–IMC Standard with 50 nodes (JG747AAE)
– Nodes = a devices or IP address IMC has discovered
– Additional node licences can be added in increments of 50 (JG749AAE)
–IMC Enterprise with 50 nodes (JG748AAE)
– Also includes NTA with 2 nodes and WSM with 50 APs
– Same platform node licensing as IMC Standard
–IMC High Availability Software (iHA) –JG771AAE
– Enables HA for an IMC “cluster”
– Need an iHA license per standby IMC server in the cluster.

–Network Traffic Analysis (NTA) - JG750AAE
– Includes 5 nodes. Node = a device that is a sFlow/Netflow data source.

– Single license enables SHM, no node limits apply, will support what the platform is licensed for.

–Base OS—base operating functions including VPN and VIA clients.

Aruba ALE
– ALE 2.0 is priced on a one-time, per-AP license. Three licensing schemes are available:
– Unlicensed: Without licenses, ALE does not publish any ZMQ messages (needed for the
Publish/Subscribe API).
– Evaluation license: An eval license contains an AP-count and is valid for 90 days. After the eval license
expires, ALE will not publish any ZMQ messages.
– Permanent license: A permanent license contains an AP-count and does not expire.

Account Erstellung für registrierte und neue Nutzer
Für Nutzer des alten Aruba Licensing Management System (LMS):
1. http://hpe.com/networking/mynetworking/
2. Klick auf ‘Sign in using HPE Passport’
3. Klick auf ‘Forgot Password’ unter dem Password Feld
4. Email-Adresse eingeben die bei LMS registriert war
5. Den Recovery Process durchführen, anschliessend sollte die Anmeldung auf dem MNP möglich sein

Nach einer Bestellung wird eine Sales Order Nummer erstellt und an die
Account-Adresse gesendet.
Mittels dieser Sales Order Nummer werden neue Hardware oder neue Lizenzen
einer Emailadresse zugeordnet.

Wenn eine LIC-AP gekauft

Mit MNP kann eine LIC-AP
für 2000 APs, teilweise und

Controller aktiviert werden.
(z.B. 200 gegen Controller 1
und 400 gegen Controller 2)
MNP zeigt dann 2000
Lizenzen insgesamt, 600 im
Einsatz, und 1400 zur
Aktivierung darstellen.

Erstellung von Evallizenzen über das
License Acquisition Portal (LAP)
–Bis eine endgültige und vereinfachte Lösung zum Erstellen von
Evaluierungslizenzen für die bisherigen Aruba Produkte erarbeitet ist kann unser
Tech Hub Team (ehemals Office Based Presales) diese Aufgabe zentral
übernehmen.
–Das Team kann wie folgt angesprochen werden:

Vereinfachte Lösung wird aktuell von verschiedenen Partnern getestet (seit 12.12.16).

1.Log in to PP at https://partner.hpe.com
2.On the homepage click the “Get Support” button on the right hand side of the screen
3.On the support page select Presales Services first and then choose what particular service
you’re interested in (in this case would be “Technical Q&A”)
– Bitte die jeweilige Produkt Nummer und benötigte Anzahl mit angeben.
– Aus den zugesendeten Registration IDs können dann im MyNetworking Portal die Lizenzen
erstellt werden (vergleichbar mit der Registrierung einer neuen SalesOrder)
