Alumni Symposium Japan
in Kyoto

Date:
Information:

13.00-17.15
“Study in/about/with Switzerland”
Students from other countries constitute an important
part of Swiss Universities and enrich their programs in
international studies. (Kyoto University has academic
and student exchange agreements with 4 universities
such as ETH Zurich, Uni Lausanne, UZH and EPFL. In
2014, the dual degree agreement was signed between
the law faculty of Doshisha University and UZH, and
more..) In addition, a growing number of students from
Switzerland now study abroad in foreign universities. In
order to commemorate this exchange of students and
the borderless flow of academic knowledge, an
international symposium has been inaugurated. This
symposium, marking the first of what we hope will
become a regular event, will see Swiss students and
Alumni of Swiss Universities in Japan, and celebrate the
friendly ties between our countries.
