Dear swimming friends,
in 2017 our traditional swimming festival will take place again.
For this occasion, we would like to greet our international and national guests in Luebeck.
Selected heats will be premium heats again; the mixed relays will be the highlights of the
day.
We will send the entry list before the competition per e-mail.
Our experienced referees and the organization team are looking forward to a high-class
competition.
For physical well-being there will be a wide range of offerings from our bistro in the
swimming pool.

A. General Provisions
1. The realization of the competitions happens according to the competitive rules (WB), the legal order of
the competition license, the anti-doping rules (NADA) and the anti-doping rules of the DSV. For the disabled with the appropriate classification of the competition provisions of the proof German Disabled
Sports Association are additionally applied.
2. Eligible are all invited clubs.
3. The one-start-rule is applicated.
4. With the note of participation, the clubs have to bring a declaration that the announced swimmers
have the right to start for the club, paid the required license for a year according to § 16 passage 2 letter
(f) and that they proved their health with a medical certificate which is not older than a year. Only at
the electronical delivery of the note of participation according to the DSV standards and delivery per email, the note of participation may be delivered without signature and bindingly announcement of athletic
health according to WB-AT § 8 and received by the host. The signature has to be presented at the
beginning of the competition or a signed note of participation (DSV form 101, newest version)
has to be delivered to the host. Without the signed note of participation, the swimmers of the
club are not allowed to start. There shall be no refund of entry fees. The host is not responsible, if it is
proved that there is no medical certificate or valid license for a year.
5. Entries have to be given in in DSV-format. This does not apply to foreign clubs.
6. The clubs will get an entries list before the competition.
7. With the delivery of the announcement of participation the clubs confirm that it and the announced
swimmers agree with the storage of personal data and the publication of competition data in competition
protocols and list of the best, also electronically. The participation list and the protocol will be released to
the internet.
8. The age group 2007 is allowed to enter for a maximum of 6 events.
9. Swimming clothing: The FINA-regulations and DSV-explanations have to be observed. Before the start
there will be visual control.
10. With the delivery of participation, the club accepts the regulations.

4. Late and changing entries will not be accepted due to IT-reasons!

There will be a preliminary entries list for competitions 24 (1500 m freestyle mixed) and 34 (800
m freestyle mixed), the heats will be finally set in sections break on the day of competition.
Competitors shall confirm their participation to the organizing committee no later than 15
minutes before the section. Without this confirmation the swimmers will not be placed in these
competitions.
Heats: Competitors will be seeded according to the submitted entry times. The host reserves the right to
place two swimmers on one lane in freestyle competitions of 400 m and up, if the number of entries exceeds the time limit of the competition. In this case the time will be taken manually. The swimmers will
start from the starting block; the slower swimmers start about 15 seconds after the faster ones.
There will be a maximum of 2 heats for the competitions in 800 m and 1500 m freestyle.

Awards:
Awards of year: y 99 and older, y 00/01; y 02/03; y 04/05; y 06/07
Qualifying heats are important for the places in each age group.
The eight fastest are qualified for the finals (+ five reserve swimmers).
Four-part competition over the 50 m distances: Only swimmers who swim all four 50 m distances.
Mixed relays:
In mixed relays has to be at least one swimmer (m/f) of the other sex. The results of the relays will be
open evaluation only.
Victory ceremonies:
The victory ceremonies for the finals and relays take place right after the event.
In competitions without a final the victory ceremony takes place during the next competitions.
The victory ceremonies are part of the competition.
Officials:
The number of the officials for each club is announced in the list of entries.
Foreign clubs do not have to provide referees.

The competition was registered by the SHSV with the number 368 W 17.
The wading pool will be used for warming up before and cooling down after the competition. The clubs
are responsible themselves to oversee their swimmers when swimming there. The host is not responsible for property or personal damage.
