秋の日帰り見学会のお知らせ
「京野菜」は京都で栽培されている伝統的な野菜です。独特の形をしていて栄養価が高いなどの特
徴があります。今回の見学会では、亀岡市の京野菜栽培農場を訪ねるとともに、専門家に京野菜の
解説をしていただきます。その他にも、亀岡祭の見物や武家屋敷での手まり寿司作り体験を予定し
ています。秋の一日、京都の農業と文化について一緒に学びましょう！

費: 無料。ただし、へき亭での手まり寿司作り体験と昼食を希望する場合は昼食費 500
円自己負担。希望しない場合は自分で昼食を持参。
申込方法: メール（[email protected]）でお申し込みください。メールの件名は「日帰
り見学会」とし、氏名、身分、所属（専攻分野）、携帯電話番号、手まり寿司作
り体験およびへき亭での昼食を希望するかを記入してください。

ONE-DAY STUDY TRIP
Kyōyasai (京野菜) are traditional vegetables in Kyoto. They are known for their unique shapes and
colors, and for being rich in nutrients. In our One-Day Study Trip, a Kyōyasai specialist will give us a
lecture, and we will visit Kyōyasai farms in Kameoka City. We will also go to see Kameoka Festival
and make Temari Sushi (small, ball-shaped sushi) at a 300-year-old samurai residence. Join us and
let’s learn about the agriculture and culture of Kyoto together!
Who can join: International students and researchers in Faculty and Graduate School of
Agriculture
Date: October 25 (Tue) (May be cancelled in case of heavy rain)
Schedule: We will be traveling by bus.
9:00 Leave Kyoto University → 10:00-10:50 Kameoka Festival → 11:00-13:00 Temari
Sushi making and lunch at Hekitei → 13:05-14:00 Kyōyasai farms → 14:15-15:30
Lecture on Kyōyasai at Kyoto Gakuen University → 17:00 Arrive at Kyoto University
Cost: Free! *Those who would like to make Temari Sushi and eat it for lunch at Hekitei need to pay
500 yen beforehand. You are welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer to do so.*
Application: Please send us an email ([email protected]) titled “One-Day Study Trip
Application” with your name, status, division and lab, and cell phone number included.
Also make sure to indicate whether you would like to try making Temari Sushi and eat
it for lunch at Hekitei.

Capacity: 30 people (If there are more than 30 applicants, participants will be chosen by lot.
First-time applicants will be prioritized.)
