The “GfV study group „Immunobiology of viral infections“ kindly invites to the 15th Workshop on „Pathogenicity and Immune Control of Viral Infections“ 28. – 30. September 2016 in Tauberbischofsheim Organisation Thomas Gramberg, Institut für Klinische und Molekulare Virologie, Erlangen Thomas Grunwald, Fraunhofer Institut für Zelltherapie und Immunologie, Leipzig Supported by: We would like to welcome all scientists interested in the immune biology of viral infections from within or outside the Gesellschaft für Virologie (GfV) to join us in Tauberbischofsheim. The workshop specifically aims at younger scientist (PhD students, Postdocs) to present their work (short talks) in a small and comfortable setting, and at PIs to engage in stimulating discussions and to interact with fellow scientists, e.g. discussing methods, set up collaborations, networking, etc. Topics of the workshop: - Virus-Host Interaction and Intrinsic Immunity - Viral Pathogenesis and Immune Evasion - Innate Immunity - Adaptive Immunity - Vaccines Keynote lectures. Prof. Jan Rehwinkel, Radcliff Department of Medicine, University of Oxford PD Dr. Zoe Waibler, Paul-Ehrlich-Institute, Langen Prof. Hendrik Streek, Institute for HIV Research, University of Duisburg-Essen, Abstracts Please submit your abstract for oral presentation (no poster presentations) relating to one of the above mentioned topics (English, 250 words max.). All submitted abstracts will be presented as a 10 min short talk. It will start early afternoon on Wednesday, 28.09.2016, and ends around noon on Friday, 30.09.2016.
