The position-holder will report to Vice President Sales.
Manage/develop the customer relationship
Pursue the business development by sales promotion activity (also as a playing
manager) and lead the negotiation with the customer
Manage the entire cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, define the portfolio
and sales strategy and being responsible for the implementation, assure the turnover
and profitability
Manage and being responsible for the budgeting, target setting, etc.
Conduct relevant analysis as well as research for product and business development
Lead/manage the department incl. systematic coaching and training of subordinates

Expatriate/Overseas experience
Ability to bridge mentalities
Extensive own sales experience
Analytic, systematic working style with leadership qualities and team abilities
Establishing portfolio and sales strategies incl. implementation
Budgeting, target setting (MbO), reporting
CRM
Systematic coaching and training of team members
Field of expertise: 3D optical surface measurement technologies used in industrial
research and life-science
Frequent business trips incl. to destinations abroad are common
Exceptional English language skills – Must be fluent (business level).
Native level in Japanese
Very good user knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
