One of the oldest underground canals in Central Europe (1137-1143), between Brunnhausgasse and St.
Peter's. During annual maintenance work in September, the canal is open for guided tours by appointment

in Gneis, on the southern outskirts of the city ("Birkensiedlung" bus terminus, 150 m downstream).

The folder "Salzburg City Explorers" invites families to discover Salzburg. This walking tour, during which
parents and children can have fun discovering 13 highlights of the Salzburg historical district, takes about

special surprise for participants).

Leo-the-Lion Coloring Book
A coloring, creativity and history book helps children learn more about the City of Mozart. Leo-the-Lion takes
young explorers to some of Salzburg's most important sights. This coloring book is available at all Salzburg
City tourist information offices, in select museum shops and book stores as well as at the Spar supermarket
in the Getreidegasse, and can also be ordered from the website www.bestofsalzburg.org
