Applicability
This operation instruction describes the handling of
electrical connections and mechanical assembly of
sun protection drives (Series D, DCD).
Anwendbarkeit
Diese Montageanleitung beschreibt die Handhabung des
elektrischen Anschlusses und der mechanischen Montage von
Sonnenschutzantrieben (Baureihen D, DCD).
Use and characteristic
Sun protection drives for the operation with AC
voltage (Series D) or DC voltage (Series DCD) by the use of
an additional controller.
Typische Verwendung
Sonnenschutzantriebe für den Betrieb mit Wechselspannung
(Baureihe D) oder Gleichspannung (Baureihe DCD) unter Verwendung einer zusätzlichen Steuerung.

Enviromental conditions
» The environmental temperature range for the operation of the series D and DCD is -10 degrees to +60 degrees Celsius.
The extraordinary operating temperature range -20 degrees
Ceslsius to +80 degrees for max. 20% of the expected service life (continuous operation is not permissible).
» Standard operation is limited to 1000m altitude.
» To use the drives deviating from 20 degree Celsius and/
or above 1000m will see a reduction in the performance data.
Umgebungsbedingungen
» Der bestimmungsgemäße Temperaturbereich für die Baureihe D und DCD liegt bei -10°C bis +60°C; der außergewöhnliche
Temperaturbereich bei -20°C bis +80°C für max. 20% der zu
erwartenden Lebensdauer bei nicht durchgängigem Betrieb.
» Der Betrieb der Antriebe ist zulässig bis zu einer Höhe über NN von 1000m.
» Bei Betrieb abweichend von 20°C und/ oder einer Höhe von 1000m ändern sich die Leistungsdaten.
» Electrical connection/ Elektrischer Anschluss
» The electrical connection through the existing flying leads or
plug can be performed.
» Connection according to the following wiring diagrams.
» Am Antrieb ist der elektrische Anschluss mittels vorhandener Stecker oder Litzen auszuführen.
» Der Anschluß erfolgt entsprechend nacholgenden Schaltbildern.

Protective earth
If the voltage supply of the motor is carried out with potential
reference for the feed supply all accessible drive parts must be
connected to protected earth.

Schutzerde
Erfolgt die Spannungsversorgung des Antriebes mit
Potentialbezug, sind berührbare Antriebsteile an Schutzerde
anzuschließen.

» Mechanical assembly/ Mechanische Montage:
The drive unit must be mounted by using fixing materials
(Screws and distance rubber or mounting profile and
clamping spring) in the head rail.
The alignment of the output shaft to the shaft of the sun
protection device is important.
Die Antriebe sind mittels geeigneter Befestigungsmaterialien
(Schrauben und Distanzgummi bzw. Befestigungsprofil und
Klemmfeder) in der Kopfschiene zu befestigen. Es ist auf eine
fluchtende Ausrichtung der Abtriebswelle des Antriebes zur
Welle der Sonnenschutzeinrichtung zu achten.

Application conditions
» Check the specifications on the type plate
» Check the applicability between operating
requirement and label data
» Mounting position horizontal is permitted. For other
mounting positions please contact the manufacturer
» Standards and regulations concerning insulation and
grounding have to be considered

» Überprüfen Sie die technischen Angaben auf dem Typenschild
» Überprüfen Sie ob die Leistungsfähigkeit des Antriebes die aus der Applikation resultierenden Anforderungen erfüllt
» Nur horizontale Anbaulage ist erlaubt. Die Verwendung in einer Schräglage ist vom Antriebshersteller freizugeben
» Normen und Vorschriften hinsichtlich Isolierung und Erdung müssen berücksichtigt werden.
