Doctoral Student / Research Assistant in Household Finance

Professor Dr. Martin Brown (s/bf-HSG) is seeking to hire a
Doctoral Student / Research Assistant in
Household Finance / Behavioral Economics
per February or August, 2017.
This position is targeted towards students who have recently completed or are about to
complete a Master's degree in Economics or Finance and aim to pursue academic
oriented doctoral studies. Candidates are expected to enroll in one of the Ph.D. programs
in finance or economics at the University of St.Gallen. The position as a doctoral student
is tied to a 4-year position as a research assistant.
Applicants should have a strong interest in financial intermediation (the microeconomics of
banking), household finance and behavioral economics. Excellent quantitative skills as well
as advanced English and German language skills are required for this position.
