PEGAS trading volumes in July 2016
PEGAS spot volumes increase by 55% yearon-year
Paris, 1 August 2016. PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by the
French Powernext SA, today announced that a total volume of 86.1 TWh was traded in
July 2016 which represents a growth of 20% compared to the previous year (71.6
TWh).
Spot Markets
Spot trading volumes in July reached 40.3 TWh, which amounts to an increase of 55%
compared to the previous year (26.0 TWh). On the Dutch market area TTF, 12.5 TWh
were traded, 69% more than in July 2015 (7.4 TWh). The German NCG and GASPOOL
hubs together registered the biggest share on PEGAS Spot with a total of 14.9 TWh, an
increase of 63% (July 2015: 9.1 TWh). Trading of quality-specific spot contracts for
Germany totalled 4.6 TWh. The French PEGs volume totalled 10.1 TWh, while the
Belgian ZTP and ZEE reached 2.2 TWh. Lastly, spread transactions of all hubs
amounted to 3.9 TWh.
The locational products in Germany and France registered a total volume of 540,694
MWh, among which 532,894 MWh were traded on the Hourly products in 3,866
transactions.
Derivatives Markets
In July, the volume on the PEGAS derivatives market amounted to 45.9 TWh (45.7
TWh in July 2015). The Dutch TTF futures market was the main contributor with a total
monthly volume of 37.3 TWh (July 2015: 32.5 TWh). Trading in the German NCG and
GASPOOL delivery areas reached 4.7 TWh in July (July 2015: 8.7 TWh), while the
French PEG Nord and TRS market areas reached a volume of 1.7 TWh (July 2015: 3.4
TWh). Moreover, the PSV market area registered 2.1 TWh. Clearing via trade
registration reached 1.7 TWh while the total volume of spread transactions also
amounted to 1.7 TWh.

PEGAS Handelsvolumen im Juli 2016
Volumen am PEGAS-Spotmarkt steigt um
55 Prozent
Paris, 1. August 2016. Die paneuropäische Gashandelsplattform PEGAS verzeichnete
im Juli 2016 ein Gesamtvolumen von 86,1 TWh. Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von 20
Prozent gegenüber Juli 2015 (71,6 TWh).
Spotmärkte
Die Volumina an den Spotmärkten erreichten im Juli 40,3 TWh, und stiegen somit um
um 55 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr an (Juli 2015: 26,0 TWh). Das Volumen am
niederländischen Marktgebiet TTF erreichte 12,5 TWh, und somit 69 Prozent mehr als
im Juli 2015 (7.4 TWh). Das Volumen an den deutschen Marktgebieten NCG und
GASPOOL stieg auf 14,9 TWh und stellt damit den größten Anteil am SpotmarktVolumen dar. Gegenüber dem Vorjahr entspricht dies einer Steigerung um 63 Prozent
(2015: 9.1 TWh). In qualitätsspezifischen Kontrakten für die deutschen Marktgebiete
wurden insgesamt 4,6 TWh gehandelt. Das Volumen der französischen PEG-Hubs
beläuft sich auf 10,1 TWh, während an den belgischen Hubs ZTP und ZEE 2,2 TWh
erreicht wurden. Die an den Spotmärkten getätigten Spread-Transaktionen beliefen sich
auf 3,9 TWh.
In den lokalen Gasprodukten für Deutschland und Frankreich wurden 540.694 MWh
gehandelt. Davon entfielen 532.894 MWh auf die Stundenprodukte, gehandelt in 3.866
Transaktionen.
Terminmärkte
Im Juli wurden am PEGAS-Terminmarkt 45,9 TWh gehandelt (45,7 TWh in Juli 2015).
Den Großteil trug der niederländische TTF mit 37,3 TWh bei (Juli 2015: 32,5 TWh). In
den deutschen Marktgebieten NCG und GASPOOL wurden im Juli 4,7 TWh gehandelt
(2015: 8,7 TWh), am französischen Markt erreichten die Hubs PEG Nord und TRS
zusammen 1,7 TWh (2015: 3,4 TWh). Am italienischen Hub PSV wurden 2,1 TWh
vermeldet. Die Registrierung von außerbörslichen Geschäften erreichte 1,7 TWh
ebenso wie das Spread-Volumen zwischen den Handelspunkten.

Volumes négociés en juillet 2016
Les volumes négociés sur PEGAS Spot
augmentent de 55%
Paris, Leipzig, le 1er août 2016. La plateforme paneuropéenne de négociation du gaz
PEGAS, opérée par Powernext SA, annonce aujourd’hui qu’un volume total de 86,1
TWh a été traité sur ses marchés en juillet 2016, ce qui représente une croissance de
20% par rapport à l'année précédente (juillet 2015 : 71,6 TWh).
Marchés spot
Les volumes négociés sur les marchés spot en juillet ont atteint 40,3 TWh, ce qui
représente une augmentation de 55% par rapport à l’année précédente (26,0 TWh). Un
volume mensuel de 12,5 TWh a été traité sur le marché néerlandais TTF, soit 69% de
plus qu’en juillet 2015 (7.4 TWh). Les zones de marché allemandes NCG et GASPOOL
ont enregistré le volume le plus important du mois sur PEGAS Spot avec un total de
14,9 TWh, soit une croissance de 63% comparée à l’année dernière (9,1 TWh). Les
produits gaz à haute et basse qualités calorifiques allemands ont atteint 4,6 TWh. Les
marchés PEG français ont totalisé un volume de 10,1 TWh, tandis que les transactions
sur les marchés belges ZTP et ZEE se sont élevés à 2,2 TWh. Enfin, le volume des
transactions sur les produits spreads a atteint 3,9 TWh.
540 694 MWh ont été traités sur les produits localisés en Allemagne et en France, dont
532 894 MWh sur les produits horaires avec 3 866 transactions.
Marchés dérivés
Le marché PEGAS Futures a enregistré un volume de 45,9 TWh en juillet 2016 (45,7
TWh en juillet 2015). Le marché dérivé au hub néerlandais TTF a été le principal
contributeur avec un total de 37,3 TWh (juillet 2015 : 32,5 TWh). Les volumes négociés
sur les zones de livraison allemandes NCG et GASPOOL se sont élevés à 4.7 TWh en
juillet (juillet 2015 : 8,7 TWh), tandis que les volumes des marchés français PEG Nord
and TRS ont atteint un volume of 1,7 TWh (juillet 2015 : 3,4 TWh). De plus, le marché
italien PSV a enregistré un volume mensuel de 2,1 TWh. Le volume des transactions
négociées sur le marché OTC s’est élevé à 1,7 TWh, alors que les transactions spreads
ont également atteint 1,7 TWh.
