Fakultät für Physik Seminar Anthony Francis Department of Physics and Astronomy, York University, Toronto, Canada Doubly bottom strong-interaction stable tetraquarks from lattice QCD We investigate the possibility of qq 0 Q̄Q̄ tetraquark bound states using nf = 2 + 1 lattice QCD ensembles with pion masses ' 164 MeV, 299 MeV and 415 MeV. Motivated by observations from heavy baryon phenomenology, we consider two lattice interpolating operators both of which are expected to couple efficiently to tetraquark states: one with diquark-antidiquark and one with mesonmeson structure. Using NRQCD to simulate the bottom quarks we study the udb̄b̄, `sb̄b̄ channels with ` = u, d, and find unambiguous signals for these being strong-interaction-stable J P = 1+ tetraquarks. We find these states lying 189(10) and 98(7) MeV below the corresponding free two-meson thresholds. Donnerstag, 11.08.2016, 14:15 Uhr Ort: D6-135
