If you take an ICE from Hanover, it takes you about one hour to get to Lüneburg; from Hamburg an IC or ME takes you to Lüneburg within 30 minutes. From the South: Take the A7 Hannover-Hamburg motorway until the Soltau-Ost exit, Then take route 209 until Lüneburg. Take Soltauer Straße towards the inner city (Städtisches Klinikum), then further onto Bögelstraße, then Jägerstraße, then follow the wigns to the Volgershall campus. The nearest airports to Lüneburg are located in Hamburg (70 km), Hanover (120 km), and Bremen (150 km). When you get off the train at Lüneburg main train station, you will see, in the directly adjacent central bus station. The bus time tables harmonise with the beginnings and ends of taught classes at Leuphana. To access the Volgershall campus, take the Reppenstedt-bound 5013 bus from the train station. Get off at the bus stop „Volgershall“. In addition, there are taxis waiting in front of the train station. A ride to Campus Volgershall costs approx. 10 euros. From the North: Take the A39 motorway Hamburg-Lüneburg and then onto the eastern by-pass until the Lüneburg Nord exit. At the police station bear right onto the city ring street (Hindenburgstraße). Follow the signs to the Volgershall campus. Parking: Free visitors‘ parking places are available on the student and employee parking lot. All three airports can be easily reached by public transport: In Hamburg, urban trains (S-Bahn) run between Hamburg airport and the main train station every 10 minutes; the ride takes 25 minutes. In Hanover, urban trains (S-Bahn) run between Hanover airport and the main train station every 30 minutes; the ride takes about 20 minutes. In Bremen, the tram line 6 leaves for the main train station every 10 minutes.
