In the Ainu language, the red-crowned crane is known as Sarurun Kamuy (the god of the marshes). They have a wingspan of more than 2m and their elegant dance will drive away the cold. Then, a fog that hangs above the river sweeps over along with the flow of the river, looking as if a dragon is moving when you see it from the riverbed.
