2016 年度岩手大学優秀女性大学院生学長表彰受賞者決定
Iwate University President’s Awards go to Thirteen Graduate Students
岩手大学では、2012 年度より、優れた研
究活動等を行っている本学の女性大学院生
を学長が表彰する「岩手大学優秀女性大学
院生学長表彰」
を行っています。
本年度は 13
名の応募があり、一次審査（書類選考）を通
過した６名については、７月 11 日、公開プ
レゼンテーション（写真）による最終審査会
を開催しました。厳正な審査の結果、下記の
とおり決定しました。最優秀賞、優秀賞、奨励賞受賞者には、学会・シンポジウム参加旅費、
実験試料の購入等、調査研究に係る費用を支援します。
表彰式は、8 月 9 日、連合農学研究棟遠隔講義室にて行う予定です。

President of Iwate University has granted awards and scholarships to the Iwate University’s female
graduate students who have carried out excellent research activities in order to support research
activities of female students in graduate schools, in line with the Iwate University Plan of Actions for
Gender Equality.
This year, the Office for Gender Equality received 13 applications. Six of them managed to the final
selection took place on July 11 where the finalists presented their research and future career plans (the
photo from the final selection.) After careful consideration, we came to the conclusion on awardees as
below. Winners of the Grand Prize, Second Prizes and Third Prizes will be given scholarship which
can be used to participate in conferences and symposiums, conduct researches, and purchase materials,
equipment or books for research.
The award ceremony will take place on August 9.

Second Prizes – Yui Umekawa (United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences),
Nazma Khatun (Graduate School of Engineering)
Third Prizes －Maki Kanaya (Graduate School of Agriculture), ZhaoHong Ci (United Graduate
School of Agricultural Sciences), Kurumi Yoshida (Graduate School of Engineering)
