FR Lignes abstraites. Les 100 ans de Luc Peire | L’art de Luc Peire était
au départ figuratif et expressionniste, mais a évolué au fil du temps
vers l’abstraction réduite à deux dimensions. Le milieu des années
1960 a vu apparaître ses lignes verticales qui caractérisent désormais
son œuvre. Cette évolution artistique est mise en évidence ici par des
œuvres de notre propre collection, qui contient un certain nombre de
peintures ainsi que toute l’œuvre graphique de Luc Peire dont l’artiste
a fait lui-même donation en 1992 DE Abstrakte Linien. 100 Jahre Luc
Peire | Das Oeuvre von Luc Peire ist in seinen Anfängen figurativ und
expressionistisch. Dann wird es immer zweidimensionaler und abstrakter. Ab Mitte der 60er Jahre entstehen die typischen Werke mit
vertikalen Linien. Die spannende Entwicklung im Werk von Peire wird
mit Stücken der eigenen Sammlung gezeigt. Diese umfasst einige
Gemälde sowie das 1992 von Luc Peire als Schenkung überlassene
grafische Oeuvre. EN Abstract lines. 100 years Luc Peire | In his early
years, Luc Peire’s oeuvre was largely figurative and expressionist. As
time passed, it became increasingly more two-dimensional and abstract. From the mid-sixties onwards, the typical compositions with
vertical lines began to emerge. The fascinating evolution in Peire’s
work is shown through pieces from the museum’s own collection. This
collection contains a number of paintings and his complete graphic
oeuvre, which Luc Peire donated in 1992.

EEN KEUZE UIT DE COLLECTIE 1950-1980
In de kunst van de jaren 1950, 1960 en 1970 komt er aandacht voor
de dagelijkse omgeving en het gebruik van alledaagse voorwerpen.
De pop art toont de wereld van de massacultuur en de commercie.
Het hyperrealisme geeft een fotografische weergave van de leefomgeving. In de arte povera worden goedkope, eenvoudige materialen
gebruikt, zoals hout en steen.

l’environnement quotidien et à l’utilisation d’objets de la vie courante.
Le pop art met en évidence le monde de la culture de masse et le
