平成２９年度私費外国人留学生入学料免除申請について（大学院生）
Application for the Exemption from the Payment of Admission Fees for 2017
(Graduate Students) [Self-supporting International Students]
平成２９年度入学料免除の申請受付等を、次のとおり行います。
Applications for the exemption from the payment of the admission fees for academic year 2017 will be accepted as
follows.
１．対象者
Eligible students
大学院に入学し、次の（１）または（２）のうち、いずれかに該当する人であること（ただし、科目履修生、
研究生等の非正規生は除く）
。
A graduate student who is admitted to the Graduate School and falls under either of the following (1) or (2).
（Provided, however, that non-regular students, such as credited auditors and research students, are excluded.)
（１）経済的理由によって入学料の納付が困難であり、かつ、学業優秀と認められる人
A student recognized as having difficulty in paying the admission fee due to economic reasons and proved to be
high achieving
（２）平成２８年４月以降に本人の学資を主として負担している人（以下「学資負担者」という。
）が死亡し、又
は本人若しくは学資負担者が風水害等の災害を受けたことにより、入学料の納付が著しく困難であると認
められる人
A student recognized as having extreme difficulty in paying the admission fee, because the person who is
primarily responsible for the payment of tuition and fees (hereafter called the “responsible person”) became
deceased or the student or the responsible person suffered from a storm, flood or other disaster in and after April
2016
ただし、次のいずれかに該当する人については、選考の対象としません。
Provided, however, that students who fall under any of the following items will not be eligible for exemption:
① 平成２９年度入学料を既に納入している人
Students who have already paid admission fees for 2017;
② 申請書類を提出後、別途書類の追加提出を求められたが、指定された期日までに提出しなかった人
Students who, after the submission of the application documents, were requested by KIT to separately submit
additional documents but did not submit such documents by the specified date;
２．申請書類

① 入学料免除申請書

④ 私費外国人留学生生活実態調査票
Self-supporting Foreign International Student Living Conditions Survey;
⑤ 住民票または在留カードもしくは外国人登録証明書のコピー
The certificate of residence or a copy of residence card or a copy of alien registration certificate;
・一人世帯の人：在留カードもしくは外国人登録証明書のコピーで可
Students living alone: A copy of the residence card or alien registration certificate will suffice.
・一緒に生活している人全員の分：住民票（住所地の区役所等で発行のもの）
For all the family members living together with the applicant: Certificate of residence (issued by the ward
office, etc., covering the applicant’s address);

⑥ 在学証明書または学生証のコピー(一緒に生活している人が学生〈本人と小・中学校を除く〉の場合)
The certificate of student status or a copy of Student Identification Card (in cases where a person living together
with the applicant is a student <excluding the applicant and students of elementary and junior high schools>);
⑦ 本人または日本で一緒に生活している人に定職、アルバイト等収入があれば金額を証明する書類

When the applicant or a person (or persons) living together in Japan have some income from a regular job or
part-time job, a document that certifies such income amount;（Payment Certificate [university designated form],
copy of tax withholding slip for the 2015 fiscal year, copies of the pay statements of the past 3 to 6 months, etc.）
⑧ その他（申請時又は申請の後に、追加提出を指示された書類）
Other (Additional documents instructed to be submitted, at the time of or after application);
申請用紙は、学生サービス課で配布するとともに、本学ホームページに掲載していますので、各自でプリント
アウトして利用してください。

Application forms are available at Student Affairs and, at the same time, posted on KIT’s website
(http://www.kit.ac.jp/campus_index/student-new/) at the following address, for downloading and printing.

※注意 Notes:
① 申請者は、申請受付の際に、申請書及び証明書類に記載された事項（所得の内容、家族構成等）に関連し
た家庭の状況を、説明できるように準備しておいてください。
Applicants are required to make preparations so that he/she can explain his/her family situation in connection
with the matters set out in the application and certificates (such as the contents of the income, etc., and the family
structure);
② 代理人による申請は受け付けません。
We do not accept proxy applications;
③ 受付日時以外は受付しません。
Applications will be accepted only on the day and during the period of time specified.
④ 入学料免除の申請が受理された場合には、
「入学料免除申請書受理証明書」を発行しますので、入学手続
きの際に入学料の納付証明書に代えて提出してください。
したがって、入学手続きの際には入学料の納入の必要はありません。
If the application is accepted, the University will issue a Certificate of Admission fee exemption application form
acceptance. Submit it in place of the proof of payment of the admission fee in the admission procedure.
Therefore, you need not pay the fee during the admission procedures.
⑤ 「入学料免除」の申請をした後に、入学辞退をした場合は、入学料免除の申請を辞退したものとなり
ますので、直ちに入学料を納入していただきます。
If you decline admission after having made an application for the exemption, it means that you decline the
application. In this case, you need to pay the admission fee immediately.

４．選考結果の通知
Notice of the application result
平成２９年７月１０日（月）１０時（予定）
10:00 a.m., July 10, 2017 (scheduled)
・学生サービス課窓口にて、選考結果通知書をお渡ししますので、学生証を持参のうえ、来室してください。
We will deliver the notice of the application result at the counter of Student Affairs, so please receive the
application result by showing your Student Identification Card.
・不許可となった人は入学料の全額を、半額免除となった人は入学料の半額を、通知日から１４日以内の指
定する期日までに納入してください。
Unsuccessful applicants must pay the full amount of the admission fee by the due date, which is within 14 days
from the notification of the result. If half of the fee was exempted, pay half the amount in the same way.
・不許可となった人又は半額免除された人は、選考結果通知の日から１４日以内の指定する期日までに徴収
猶予の申請をすることができます。

Unsuccessful applicants and those granted half exemption can apply for deferred payment by the deadline, which
is within 14 days from the notification of the result.
