A group of selected students from Secondary Schools in Zanzibar will attend a six-day workshop to learn
animation techniques and production. At the end of the workshop the participants will produce one animation short film which will be screened during the ZIFF. The theme for the animation production is education and human rights.

The Goethe-Institut has supported three German filmmakers to visit and present their
films during the screening at the ZIFF. Their presence will help to facilitate networking

aims at increasing the numbers and empowering women through dance education.
