Company history:
1873 Company founded
In 1873 the merchant Hermann Josef Brumberg
founds the metal goods factory of the same name in
Sundern.
1875 Conversion to kerosene lamps
Since in nearby Neheim kerosene lamps were
already being manufactured for ore mining,
Brumberg in 1875 converts the company to
kerosene lamps.
1985 Re-founding
As a result of an economic crisis, the Josef
Brumberg lamp factory is dissolved in 1985. In the
same year, the newly founded Brumberg Leuchten

GmbH & Co. KG resumes the family tradition
through Johannes and Antoinette Brumberg.
2003 Enhancement
Johannes Brumberg, Jr coordinates the marketing
and sales sectors together with his father.
2007 The 5th Generation
Johannes Brumberg becomes managing director.
2009 Further enhancement
Benedikt Brumberg takes over management of
“purchasing” for the company.
2010
Collaboration with Hella KGaA Hueck & Co,
Lippstadt.
2010
Partner company of the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Gerontotechnik®" (GGT), Iserlohn.
2012
Collaboration with Albrecht Jung GmbH & Co. KG,
Schalksmühle.

Benedikt Brumberg becomes managing director and
thereby completes the family generation.

Collaboration with Dornbracht GmbH & Co.KG,
Iserlohn, manufacturer of high quality design fittings

Brumberg becomes a partner of “eNet-Allianz with
