Invitation and Call for Papers
Dear participants
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Society of Spine Surgery I would like to
invite you to attend the Annual Congress in Basel on 26 August 2016.
The main topic of the congress deals with a topic of our daily practice: lumbar fusion – is it
still indicated? Indications and pros and cons of different competitive techniques will be presented by distinguished speakers. There is time for discussion and I would like to encourage
you to actively participate and share your own experiences.
For the first time at our Annual Congress a session with free communications will be held in
the afternoon. I would like to invite especially our young colleagues to present their current
work of research.
Looking forward to meeting you in Basel
Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Schären
President SGS
