Abdominale Vaskular-Chirurgie in Perfektion
“Vor allem in der abdominalen Vaskular-Chirurgie erleichtert eine gute Exposition
der entsprechenden Gefäße die Operation erheblich. Eine besonders gute Exposition bedarf Wundhaken, die zwei maßgebliche Funktionen besitzen müssen:
Retraktion des umliegenden Gewebes, Darms und Fetts wie auch die Exposition
des pathologischen Gefäßes.
Die Idee der Zeitlin-Wundhaken basiert auf diesen Anforderungen. Die gebogene
Form der Zeitlin-Wundhaken bietet eine spezifischere und stabilere Exposition
von tubulären anatomischen Strukturen wie der Aorta und der iliakalen Arterien
im abdominalen Raum. Mit nur einem Zeitlin-W undhaken wird eine bessere
Exposition geschaffen als mit zwei herkömmlichen W undhaken.“

„Especially in abdominal vascular surgery good exposure of the relevant vessels
facilitates the operation essentially. Good exposure demands a retractor that
has two functions: retraction of surrounding tissue, gut, colon and fat and the
exposure of the pathological vessel.
The idea of the Zeitlin retractors is based on these demands. The curve-shaped
Zeitlin retractors provide wider and more stable exposure of the tube-type
anatomical structures such as aorta and iliacal arteries in the abdominal cave.
With the help of just one Zeitlin retractor it is possible to achieve a better
exposure as with two conventional retractors.”
