Internship Offer in the USA for the 2016/17 Winter Semester
AFCO manufactures Gasoline Fuel Pumps for
the North American Market. Over 90 million
passenger vehicles, or up to 30% of the US fleet
features an AFCO pump.
AFCO currently employs 250 associates, to
produce a large variety of fuel pumps and
modules for most US carmakers.
Associated Fuel Pump Systems Corporation
(AFCO) is a joint venture between DENSO
International America and Robert Bosch GmbH.
It is located in Anderson, South Carolina, two hours’ drive north of Atlanta, Georgia.
Each year AFCO offers a 6-month-internship in Purchasing. The current offer is for
August 29th, 2016 through March 03th, 2017
Typical tasks in the Purchasing department:
 Prepare request for quotations to suppliers, evaluate and compare Purchase Prices
 Evaluate supplier performance, supplier surveys
 Estimate supplier costs for production parts, “shadow calculations”
 Create and update displays / presentations / overviews
 Assist buyer in project management of various projects
 Other assignments like business correspondence and other office matter, as needed
Our offer includes:
• Apartment (shared apartment with private bed-/bathroom)

• A monthly compensation of $500
