Marianne Wex
*1937 in Hamburg, Germany
Lives and works at Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany

Marianne Wex studied Fine Art at the Academy of Art in Hamburg and Mexiko-City.
From 1963 until 1980 teacher at the Academy of Art in Hamburg. In the 1990th
health reasons let her change her main interest towards Natural Healing.
After some years Wex startet working on this topic as a lecturer in workshops in
Germany and other countries. In the course of time body language, formerly
experienced as an artist in the 1970th, now with a widened understanding, became
part of healing and regneration.

This exhibition „Le Deuxième Sexe - une note visuelle“ was taking place
to honor Simone de Beauvoir and her world famous book „Le Deuxieme Sexe“,
„The Second Sex“, sponsored by the ‚Centre audiovisuel Simone de Beauvoirʼ
and the Goethe-Institute.
