Mohair aus den Haaren der Bergziege bietet besonders gute Gleiteigenschaften. Felle aus 100 % Mohair ersparen Kraft und ermöglichen Schnelligkeit,
weshalb sie gerne im Renneinsatz Verwendung finden.
Nylon ist griffiger, wasserabweisender und haltbarer als Mohair. Schwierige
Hänge und schwerer Schnee sind mit Nylon-Fellen leichter zu meistern.
Mohair-Synthetik-Mix mit mittellangem Flor vereint die Vorzüge der beiden
Materialien in idealem Maß und garantiert beste Steig- und Gleiteigenschaften in jedem Gelände. Eine Imprägnierung wirkt der Stollenbildung entgegen.

Montage bei extremen Bedingungen
(für Standard Klebefelle)
• Extreme Kälte: Haftfelle vor dem Aufziehen am Körper anwärmen und
besonders darauf achten, dass der Skibelag ganz sauber und frei von
Schneekristallen ist, bevor die Felle montiert werden! Die Felle dabei nicht
über die Skikante abziehen!
• Hohe Feuchtigkeit: sehr feuchte bzw. nasse Felle können mit der Felltasche
abgerieben werden. In diesem Fall muss auch der Skibelag trocken
gerieben werden.
Schutzfolie auftragen
1.Nach dem Abfellen die ausgerollte Folie
im Bereich der Fellspitze durch leichtes
Andrücken auf einer Länge von
ca. 10 cm ankleben.
2.Auf den Boden legen und
auf den zusammengeklebten
Bereich steigen, mit einer
Hand das Fell, mit der anderen
die Folie spannen (siehe Abbildung).
3.Fell und Folie zusammenführen
und die Folie auf die gesamte
Felllänge aufkleben.
4.Das zweite Fell nun wie das erste auf
die andere Seite der Folie kleben.
5.Locker zusammengelegt in den Fellsack geben.
Bei extremen Bedingungen kann das Fell
vorübergehend auch Kleber auf Kleber

Taillierte Felle grundsätzlich nur paarweise zusammenlegen!
Die Felle nie über die Skikante abziehen!
Der Standard Fellkleber ist für einen gut fertig präparierten (gewachst, abgezogen
und ausgebürstet) Ski ausgelegt. Die Felle nicht auf fabrikneue Ski oder ausgetrocknete Skibeläge montieren, da diese sonst zu stark haften!
Das genaue Zusammenlegen wie oben beschrieben ist wichtig, um eine
Verschmutzung und ein Austrocknen des Klebers zu vermeiden.
Rollen Sie die Felle nicht auf oder kleben sie Kleber- auf Haarseite zusammen!
Nehmen Sie nach jeder Skitour die nassen Felle sofort aus dem Fellsack und
hängen Sie sie in zusammengeklebten Zustand an einem luftigen und trockenen,
vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Ort auf. Lassen Sie die Felle bei
maximal Raumtemperatur trocknen.
Legen Sie die Felle niemals auf die Heizung oder eine andere Wärmequelle!
Setzen Sie die Felle nie länger der Sonne aus!
Die sachgemäß getrockneten Felle immer lichtgeschützt im Fellsack an einem
kühlen, trockenen Ort lagern.
Fellpflege: Das Fell soll regelmäßig mit der Kohla Tirol® Fellimprägnierung
behandelt werden. Dadurch verbessert sich die Anti-Stoll-Eigenschaft, Gleit
eigenschaft und Lebensdauer.
Überprüfen Sie nach längerem Gebrauch den Zustand des Fellklebers. Erneuern
Sie die Kleberschicht mit Kohla Tirol® Fellkleber, den Sie mittels Spachtel oder
Pinsel dünn auf das gereinigte Fell auftragen und vor dem Zusammenfalten mind.
6 Stunden trocknen lassen. Es dürfen keinesfalls Fellkleber von anderen Herstellern verwendet werden. Bei stark verschmutzten Klebeflächen empfiehlt es sich,
diese zuerst vom Fachhändler reinigen zu lassen.
Bei sehr abgenutztem Kleberzustand das Fell von der Kohla Tirol Fellerzeugung
neu beschichten lassen.
Grundsätzlich gilt: ein gut gewarteter Ski, bei dem der Belag in gutem Zustand
ist, gewährleistet auch die optimale Funktion des Fellklebers!
Die Felle können im normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
* Reklamationen werden grundsätzlich nur bei sachgemäß behandelten Fellen anerkannt!

MULTIFIT-Spannklebefelle
Multifit-Felle sind auf jeden beliebigen Ski anpassbar und werden selbst mit
richtig breiten Freeride-Skiern fertig. Sie können individuell eine Feinanpassung vornehmen indem Sie z. B. selbst das Maß der Kantenfreiheit bestimmen.
Lesen Sie bitte die folgende Anleitung zum Zuschneiden des Felles
aufmerksam durch! Wenn Sie Bedenken haben, die Anpassung selbst
vorzunehmen, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler.
Gebrauchsanweisung zum Zuschneiden/Anpassung der Felle
(Achtung: nur für MULTIFIT-Felle!)
1. Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie vom Fell ab.
2. Hängen Sie den hinteren Fellhaken ein und ziehen Sie das Fell von hinten
nach vorne mittig auf (Abb. 1).
3. Entfernen Sie das Fell an der Skispitze um ca. 20 cm vom Ski.
4. Platzieren Sie die Schablone mit der entsprechenden Markierung an der
Skispitze, so dass die Rückseite der Schablone am Ski anliegt und der Text
weiterhin sichtbar ist (Abb. 2).
5. Drücken Sie das Fell mittig ausgerichtet auf die Textseite der Schablone,
so dass diese nun am Fell klebt (Abb. 3).
6. Entfernen Sie das Fell vom Ski und schneiden mit dem beigelegten Messer
den oberen Bereich am Rand der Schablone entlang (Abb. 4).
7. Schablone vom Fell entfernen, Gummispanner mit den abgewinkelten Enden
Richtung Kleberseite einlegen und das Fell Kleberseite auf Kleberseite zusammen
drücken (bei Bedarf kann die Zunge um bis zu 5 cm gekürzt werden). (Abb. 5)
8. Kleben Sie das Fell mittig auf den Ski und hängen beide Endhaken ein.
9. Zeichnen Sie sich die Skikanten an beiden Seiten mit einem Stift an (Abb. 6).
10.Versetzen Sie das Fell um ca. 2-3 mm zur Seite hin, Skikante und Linie müssen
jetzt über die gesamte Länge parallel sein, je nachdem wie viel Kante frei sein soll
(Abb. 7). Der Verschleiß des Felles wird durch bündige Auflage deutlich erhöht.
11. Halten Sie den Ski fest und schneiden Sie beginnend an der Kontur der Skispitze
mit dem Messer entlang der gesamten Skikante nach unten (beachten Sie bitte,
dass nur durch zügiges Schneiden glatte Kanten entstehen).
12.Versetzen Sie das Fell um dasselbe Maß auf die andere Seite und schneiden
Sie erneut entlang der Skikante, achten Sie besonderns auf Parallelität (Abb. 8)!
13.Sollten Fäden hervorstehen, auf keinen Fall an diesen ziehen, sondern diese
vorsichtig mit einem Feuerzeug abbrennen.

Vacuum Base Felles
haben Sie sich für die
neueste Entwicklung
aus dem Hause KOHLA Tirol
entschieden. Diese Weltneuheit
im Skitourensektor verwendet
einen speziellen Kleber, der dem
Tourengeher höchsten Komfort
ermöglicht.
Die Klebeflächen lassen sich sowohl leicht vom Ski, als auch voneinander
lösen. Das erlaubt Transport und Lagerung ohne Trennfolie. Eine weitere
Besonderheit ist die Reaktivierung der Klebekraft. Sie haben von nun an die
Möglichkeit selbstständig die Klebeflächen zu reinigen.
Damit Sie möglichst lange Freude an Ihrem Vacuum Base Fell haben, beachten
Sie bitte folgende Hinweise:
Benutzung und Aufbewahrung:
• Beim Auffellen ist es äußerst wichtig, dass sowohl Klebe- als auch Skiseite
so trocken wie möglich sind. Daher ist im Lieferumfang eine Felltasche mit
Vlies enthalten. Diese dient dazu sowohl den Skibelag trocken zu reiben, als
auch die Klebefläche trocken zu tupfen. Die trockenen Felle können dann

wie gewohnt auf den trockenen Skiern angebracht werden. Beim Aufbringen darauf achten das Fell mit leichtem Druck und bis zu den Enden hin
anzudrücken.
Wie bereits oben angedeutet benötigen Sie für das Vacuum Base keine
Trennfolie. Beim Abfellen beide Kleberseiten aufeinander legen, Felle leicht
zusammenlegen und in der Felltasche verstauen.
Nehmen Sie nach jeder Skitour die nassen Felle sofort aus dem Fellsack
und hängen Sie sie in nicht zusammengeklebten Zustand an einen luftigen
und trockenen, vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Ort auf. Lassen
Sie die Felle bei maximal Raumtemperatur trocknen.
Legen Sie die Felle niemals auf die Heizung oder eine andere Wärmequelle!
Setzten Sie die Felle nie länger der Sonne aus!
Die sachgemäß getrockneten Felle immer lichtgeschützt im Fellsack an
einem kühlen, trockenen Ort lagern.
Reinigung:
• Die Reinigung kann selbst vorgenommen werden! Überprüfen Sie
regelmäßig den Zustand des Fellklebers. Unter fließendem Seifenwasser
kann die Kleberseite mit einem Lappen oder Schwamm gereinigt werden.
Sobald das Fell trocken ist, ist es wieder voll funktionsfähig.
• Das Vacuum Base niemals mit scharfen Reinigungsmitteln behandeln.
Pﬂege und Entsorgung:
• Fellpflege: Das Fell soll regelmäßig (nach ca. 15 bis 20 Touren) mit dem
KOHLA Tirol® Imprägniermittel behandelt werden. Dadurch verbessern sich
die Anti-Stoll-Eigenschaft, Gleiteigenschaft und Lebensdauer.
• Bei längeren Touren sollten Sie zur Sicherheit KOHLA Tirol® Blockwachs
mit sich führen. Bei Bedarf verwenden Sie das Wachs gegen Anstollen und
für besseres Gleiten. Siehe Pflegeset auf Seite 12.
• Keinen KOHLA Tirol® Fellhonig oder andere Fellkleber auf das Vacuum Base
aufbringen.
• Die Klebefläche darf nicht abgekratzt werden.
• Die Felle können im normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgt werden.
• Grundsätzlich gilt: ein gut gewarteten Ski, bei dem der Belag in gutem
Zustand ist, gewährleistet auch die optimale Funktion des Fellklebers!
Und die Abfahrt macht auch mehr Spaß.

3-liNe fell
Eine weitere Neuentwicklung sind die 3-Line Felle. Ein in der Mitte fix vernähter Mittelstreifen aus Nylon erhöht die Gleiteigenschaften um bis zu 25 %.
Diese ganz neue Technologie ermöglicht nun auch Freeridern mit breiten
Skiern vernünftig und mit wenig Kraftaufwand längere Aufstiege zu schaffen.
Wir empfehlen das Fell ab einer Skimitte von 95 mm zu verwenden.
Der Zuschnitt erfolgt mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Schneidcutter.
Besonderheiten der 3-Line Felle:
• KEINEN (Fell-)Kleber auf den Mittelstreifen auftragen.
• Wie auf Seite 8 und 9 beschrieben die Felle zuschneiden. Zur besseren
Positionierung ist eine Skala auf der Rückseite der Felle angebracht.
• Felle beim Zusammenlegen nicht stark knicken.
• Verwendung ab einer Skibreite von 95 mm.

Mohair from the hair of the mountain goat offers good sliding capacity. Skins
made of 100 % Mohair save power and glide rapidly. Primary use: Racing.
Nylon has more grip, is more water-repellent and durable than Mohair. Primary
use: difficult slopes and heavy snow can be mastered better with Nylon skins.
The mixture of Mohair/Synthetics with medium pile combines the advantages
of both materials in an ideal way and guarantees the best climbing and sliding
capacities in every terrain. Waterproofing prevents clumping and balling of
snow.

Skin attachment under extreme conditions
In severe cold: warm up the adhesive skins underneath your jacket for a few
minutes and ensure that the skibase is completely clean and free from snow
crystals before the skins are attached! Therefore don’t scrape the skin over
the edge of the ski.
• High humidity: very moist or wet skins can be rubbed by the skin bag.
In this case also the skibase needs to be rubbed dry.
•
Applying the protective foil
1.After removing the skins stick the unrolled foil
to the tip-area of the skin by pressing slightly
in the length of approx. 10 cm.
2.Place the tip on the ground and step on
the tip area. Stretch the skin with
one hand, the foil with the
other hand (see picture).
3.Bring together skin and foil and
stick the foil onto the whole
length of the skin.
4.Stick the second skin onto the
other side of the foil in the same way.
5.Fold loosely and place in storage bag.
Under extreme conditions the skin
can temporarily be packed glue surfaces

• Fold sidecut skins only in pairs!
• Never scrape the skins over the edge of the ski!
• The Standard glue is conceived for a good prepared (waxed, scraped and
brushed) ski. Don’t mount the skins to brand-new or dried out ski bases, as
the skins would stick too much.
• The exact folding as described further up is important to avoid dirt and
drying out of the glue.
• Never roll the skins or adhere the adhesive side to the plush side!
• Take the skins out of their bag immediately after each use. Hang them
up stuck-together in a well ventilated and dry place protected from direct
sunlight. Only dry the skins at room temperature!
• Never lay the skins on a heater or other heat source. Never expose the skins
to sunlight for a prolonged period!
• Store the properly dried skins in their bag, protected from sunlight in a cool,
dry place.
• Care: treat the skins with the KOHLA Tirol® skin impregnant regularly to
prevent the formation of clusters and to improve the sliding ability as well
as the longevity.
• Check the condition of the skin glue after longer use. Renew the glue-surface
with KOHLA Tirol® glue, which you apply thin with a spatula or brush to
the cleaned skin. Before you fold it let it dry for at least six hours. Don’t use
glues from other distributors.
• Remember: A properly tuned ski helps guarantee optimal performance of
the skin adhesive...and makes for a better descent too!
• Dispose the skins to the consumer waste.
•

3-liNe SkiN
Another completely new development is our 3-line skin. In the middle of the
skin there is a Nylon stripe which enlarges the gliding performance up to 25
per cent. This brand new technology allows freeriders with wide skis to hike
up long ascents with less effort. We recommend using this skin up from a ski
middle of 95mm. A knife is attached to trim your skin by yourself.
Speciﬁcs about the 3-Line skins:
• NEVER put any glue on the middle stripe.
• Cut the skins as described on pages 20 and 21. For better positioning you
find a scale on the backside of the skins.
• Don’t fold the skins too much!
• Use this skin up from a ski middle of 95mm.
Additionally please make sure you pay attention to the maintenance instructions on page 18.
For best maintenance for your high-quality skins
there is the KOHLA Tirol® skin care set consisting of
skin glue, dry climb skin impregnation and skin wax.

MULTIFIT Adhesive Skins
Multifit Skins can be adjusted to any ski including really wide freeride skis.
You can also individually fine tune your skins, by setting the clearance of the
edges yourself.
Please read the following instructions to cut the skins carefully! Please
consult your Kohla retailer if you don‘t feel comfortable doing this yourself.
Instructions to cut/adjust the skins:
(attention: only MULTIFIT skins!)

Remove the disposable film from the skin.
Attach the tail hook and mount the skin centered from back to front (fig. 1).
Remove the skin about 20 cm from the tip of the ski.
Place the jig with the appropriate mark at the top. The backside of the jig
lays on the ski, while the text is still visible (fig. 2).
5. Press the skin centered on the written side of the jig, so it’s glued to
the skin (fig. 3).
6. Remove the skin from the ski and cut with the attached knife around
the upper part of the jig (fig. 4).
7. Remove the jig from the skin, insert the rubber-clamp with the bent ends
towards the glued side and press glue on glue (if necessary you can
shorten the tongue to 5 cm). (fig. 5)
8. Mount the skin centered and attach both books.
9. Mark the edges of the ski with a pencil on both sides (fig. 6).
10.Shift the skin approx. 2-3 mm aside. Ski edge and marked line need to be
parallel along the whole length (fig. 7). Abrasion significantly enlarges
with flushed edges.
11.Hold the ski with one hand while you cut. Start from the outline from the
top of the ski downwards with the knife along the edges (please notice
that smooth edges only result from swift cutting)
12.Shift the skin for the same measure to the other side and cut again along
the ski edge. Make sure you cut the skins parallel (fig.8)!
13.In case of overhanging threads, do not pull these, but burn them
carefully with a lighter.

glue enables ski hikers highest
comfort.
Adhesive surface is easy to remove from skis as well as from itself. That allows
transportation and storing without protective foil. Another special feature is
the possibility to reactivate the adhesive surface again and again by your own.
In order to guarantee a long service life of your Vacuum Base, please read the
following instructions:
Usage and Storage:
• While putting the skins on the skis it’s very important, that both adhesiveand ski-surface are as dry as possible. That’s why you obtain a skin bag with
fleece. Use the fleece of the bag to wipe the ski-surface and pat the adhesive surface dry. Then mount the dry skins to the dry skis. Take care to press
the skin lightly but completely over the whole breadth onto the ski.

As already said above you don’t need a protective foil for the Vacuum Base.
After removing the skins lay both adhesive surfaces onto each other, slightly
fold the skins and store it in the skin-bag.
Take the skins out of their bag immediately after each use. Hang them up
stuck-together in a well-ventilated and dry place protected from direct
sunlight. Only dry the skins at room temperature!
Never lay the skins on a heater or other heat source. Never expose the skins
to sunlight for a prolonged period!
Store the properly dried skins in their bag, protected from sunlight in a cool,
dry place.
Cleaning:
• You are able to clean your Vacuum Base by your own! Check the condition
of the adhesive surface regularly. You can clean the adhesive surface with
flowing water and soap by using a cloth or a sponge. As soon as the skins
are dry it’s fully functional again.
• Never treat the Vacuum Base with acrid cleaning supplies.
Maintenance and Disposal:
• Skincare: Treat the skins regularly (approximately 15 till 20 trips) with the
KOHLA Tirol® skin impregnant to prevent the formation of clusters and to
improve the sliding ability as well as the longevity.
• While longer trips we suggest taking KOHLA Tirol® skin wax with you.
As needed use the wax against clusters and for better gliding performance.

• Don’t put any KOHLA Tirol® “skin-honey” or other glues onto the
Vacuum Base.
• Don’t scrape the adhesive surface.
• Dispose the skins in the consumer waste.
• Remember: A properly tuned ski helps guarantee optimal performance of
the skin adhesive! And makes a better descent, too!
