Die Diamanten liefert uns eine deutsche Schleiferei in
Pondicherry, Indien, die mittlerweile 135 Mitarbeiter beschäftigt.
Auch hier wird darauf geachtet, dass die Schleifer einen
fairen Lohn bekommen und Kinderarbeit ausgeschlossen ist.
Dort erhalten die Diamanten ihren brillanten Schliff,
dem auch tägliches Tragen nichts anhaben kann.
Ein schönes Zeichen für Beständigkeit.

Bei unseren Ringen gibt es keine eingeklemmten, eingeklebten oder irgendwie
zauberhaft befestigten Steine. Alle Brillanten sind sicher in Metallfassungen gehalten
und werden das auch eine ganze Weile bleiben. Eine runde Zargenfassung ist der Klassiker schlechthin,
passt aber nicht überall. Wir haben uns in der Goldschmiedegeschichte
umgeschaut und ein paar Fassungen gefunden, die aufwendig zu fertigen sind,
unseren Ringen aber den letzten Schliff geben.

Our rings do not have jammed, glued or otherwise magically attached gemstones. All gems are
snugly held by a metal-setting and will be staying there for a while. An absolute classic would be
a bezel setting, but not always the right choice. Looking through goldsmith history we
have found a couple of elaborate settings that give our rings the ﬁnishing touch.

die zweite einen helleren Damast mit seidigem Schimmer.

We offer all our rings in two variations. Either traditionally calcined exposed to the air and
hardened in oil or calcined in vacuum and hardened in liquid nitrogen.
The ﬁrst variation allows the damascus steel to be rich in contrast,
the second variation gives a lighter damascus steel with a silky shimmer.
The form is deﬁned by your own personal taste.
Curved surfaces guarantee a pleasant wearing, a straight shape appears modern.
Wearing a wide ring requires some tolerance, though a too slender ring won’t
emphasize the damask steel texture.

Tonneau was a French volumetric measure inspired by
the shape of a barrel.
In the twenties watches were made by this measurement and are now highly
prized collector’s items. Our rings with this shape are beautiful and
