Thomas Hermanns’ Quatsch Comedy Club proudly announces that Dylan Moran, star of “Black Books“, “Shaun of the Dead“ and “Calvary“ is returning to Berlin for one night only to present his overwhelmingly critically acclaimed new stand-‐up show “Off The Hook“. Moran, who has been referred to as “The Oscar Wilde of comedy“, has recently been sharpen-‐
ing his deceptively rambling stand-‐up in unusual places – including Kiev, Moscow and Kazakh-‐
stan – making him the first western comic to perform in St Petersburg. Back in 2013, misanthropic Irish comedy superstar Dylan Moran performed for the first time ever in Germany for the series “Quatsch in English”. His show was sold out in no time. This new show, “Off The Hook“, is Moran’s first new stand-‐up show for more than three years. Having received overwhelming reviews in the UK, “Off The Hook” provides a hilarious glimpse into Mo-‐
rans’s unique takes on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life, all delivered with poetical panache. Expect a master class in comedy this is the must-‐see show of 2015 for any comedy aficionado. Gerhard Grün, the 3rd best German comedian to come out of Garmisch Partenkirchen since Stefan Kopfhut. “Sehr lustig”, “Hochgeschwindigkeit ohne Räder”, “Seine Kopfschmerzen weg ist”. Press commentaries: “Trumping Shakespeare, he reduces life to four ages: “Child, failure, old and dead”. Faced with one-‐liners as killing as that the world suddenly seems a better place.” – The Telegraph “In his heightened ideas and vocabulary, Moran compulsively swerves clichés as he builds up layers of laughs” – The Times “His comedy takes on an existential dimension, as tubby, nicotine-‐starved, emasculated Moran comes to repre-‐
sent the struggles we all wage for meaning and connection” – The Guardian “High-‐octane riffs from Irish master of grumpiness…spellbinding” – Evening Standard Mick Perrin Worldwide and Quatsch Comedy Club present: Dylan Moran „Off The Hook“ Monday, November 23rd | 8 pm Quatsch Comedy Clun Berlin, Friedrichstr. 101, 10117 Berlin Tickets 30 €, Ticket-‐Hotline: 01805/969 000 969 (0,14€/Min.)
Gerhard Grün, the 3rd best German comedian to come out of Garmisch Partenkirchen since Ste-‐
fan Kopfhut. “Sehr lustig”, “Hochgeschwindigkeit ohne Räder”, “Seine Kopfschmerzen weg ist”. Press commentaries: “Trumping Shakespeare, he reduces life to four ages: “Child, failure, old and dead”.
