Ein Grußwort an alle Bären, Bärenliebhaber und alle Freunde
Unter dem Motto „Bear Wars“ veranstalten die Bears Cologne
e.V. wieder die Bear Pride Cologne 2015. Wenn Ihr glaubt,
dieses ist ein Hinweis auf die bevorstehende Blockbuster Premiere der Star Wars Saga - Ihr habt recht. Aber ebenso treffend verweist das Motto darauf, dass wir immer von Neuem
für unseren Respekt und unsere Rechte kämpfen müssen.
Die täglichen Nachrichten zeigen uns, dass es ein dauernder Kampf ist, bis wir in den unterschiedlichen nationalen
und internationalen Gesellschaften gleichberechtigt leben
können. In den osteuropäischen Ländern wird die Freiheit
der Lesben und Schwulen per Gesetz faktisch eingeschränkt,
hier wachsen Diskriminierung und Intolleranz. Dann zeigen
uns aber Länder wie Irland, das es Gesellschaften gibt, die
viel weiter als Teile deren religiöser und politischer Elite sind. In
einem Referendunm im Mai 2015 wurd gezeigt, dass das irische
Volk Diskriminierung nicht tolleriert. Uns zeigt es deutlich, das alle,
nicht nur wir Bären, weiter für unsere Rechte und unser Respekt kämpfen müssen - „Möge die Macht mit uns sein!“

Greetings to all Bears, Bear Admirer and Friends
This years motto of Bear Pride Cologne, organized by Bears Cologne e.V.
is called „Bear Wars“. If you guess we allude to the upcoming Star Wars
Blockbuster – you´re right! But its also apposite that this years motto means that we have to fight for our rights and our respect everyday new. The
daily news show us the ongoing struggle until we can live as equal rights
people in our society, all over the world.
Its fact that in eastern european countries the freedom of LGBT – People
is restricted by law, discrimination. Hate grows stronger and stronger
here. On the other hand, countries like Ireland show the world, that
their citizens are more open minded than their religious and political
leaderships, The referendum in May 2015 proved that the irish people don´t tolerate discrimination. That makes clear to all of us, not
only bears, it is still a long way to walk and to fight for a world with
equal rights and respect for every human. - May the force be with us

Wahlverfahren zum Titel des Mr.Bear Germany 2016 zu erneuern. Das
bisherige Wahlverfahren war einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäSS. Wir
wollen zusätzlich einem gröSSeren
Publikum sowie einer „Fach-Jury“ die
Möglichkeit geben, Ihren Mr. Bear
Germany in das Amt zu wählen.
Darum gibt es ab jetzt drei Säulen,
die zur Entscheidung beitragen.
We think it is time to renew the existing voting procedures for the title „Mr. Bear Germany 2016“. The
previous election procedure was
simply no longer appropriate. We
also want to give a wider audience
as well as an „expert jury“ the ability to choose your Mr. Bear Germany. The result is, three different
groups chose between all candidate
for the one Mr. Bear Germany 2016.
