Cabokla, postcolonial beats präsentiert: La Dame Blanche Das erste Mal in Berlin! Cabokla, postcolonial beats presents: La dame blanche The first time in berlin! Yaite Ramos, a Cuban musician living in Paris, is the daughter of Jesus "Aguaje" Ramos (Musical Director of the Buena Vista Social Club Orchestra). Previously a flutist and part of the chorus with Sargento Garcia, she's also the lead singer of El Hijo de la Cumbia. Today, she presents the debut album of La Dame Blanche- directed by Marc Babylotion Damblé (Sargento Garcia, Amadou & Mariam, Orishas), French Sound Engineer/Beat Maker - and composed under the artistic direction of Emiliano Gomez, a.k.a El Hijo de la Cumbia, an Argentinian producer renowned for his fusion of Cumbia and urban sounds. Located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, this music has been not only in Latin America but also international success. The Band identity comes not only from the infectious beat of the Cumbia, but also of different LatinAmerican rhythms like Merengue, Salsa, Bomba, Guajira, Reggaeton and Latin Rock. https://soundcloud.com/dj-garrincha/la-mula-santa-featured Featuring short live act with Secret Cumbia (Stockholm) ★ FALAKUMBE★ Punk Cumbia with This is a Stockholm based band that combines cumbia, reggae, ska, chicha, psychedelic, rock, punk, Latin rhythms and sounds with antiracist, political lyrics, that tries to find alternative spaces for cultural expression. Here we have the waste from the music scene that never really wanted to have them. It is here, in a jungle of distorted guitars, tasty tumbao and rhythms where our characters encounter. A bunch of anacorhythmc latino-punkers, pseudo-intellectual folks from Chile and Peru. https://soundcloud.com/falakumbe/la-cumbia-sinsin ★ ON THE TURNTABLES CABOKLA is a musical event powered by La Regla, Tropical Diaspora and Mundo Mix, a group of Berlin based Djs and producers from latin America and Europe.
