DAAD Prize 2015 for exceptional achievement by non-German students
The »Preis des DAAD für hervorragende Leistungen ausländischer Studierender«, a sum of
1.000 euros, is awarded by the President to a non-German student for exceptional
achievements and special cultural / political engagement. Conditions for application

On November 4th 2015, the applicants have to present a selection of their work to the AG
Internationales, which decides the granting of the award. (AG Internationales: chair: Prof. Dr.

Prof. Angela Schanelec, Prof. Pia Stadtbäumer, Prof. Dr. Friedrich von Borries; student

Achievement grants for non-German students
In 2016, again, achievement grants (»Leistungsstipendien«) will be made available by the
Hamburg Ministry of Science and Research, and by the DAAD and Karl H. Ditze Stiftung, to
non-German students. They consist of a grant of 450 euros monthly, starting in February
2015, lasting for a year.
Conditions for application:

Non-German students either with a completed preliminary diploma, or B.A. students in their 4th
semester, or M.A. students.
