Christian Staub - Managing Director of BlackRock - is country head for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Eastern Europe and a member of the EMEA Executive Committee. Prior to
joining the firm in 2014, he was responsible for PIMCO's business in Switzerland and was
head of the Zurich office, which he had established in 2008. During his twelve years with
PIMCO and its parent Allianz Asset Management, Christian Staub held various client‑facing
and corporate roles based in Munich, Newport Beach (US), and Zurich. He started his career
at UBS where he worked in equities research in Zurich, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Christian Staub holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a graduate degree from the
University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG). He is a CFA charter holder.
