Liebe Medienschaffende,
Am kommenden Mittwoch wird die Vereinigte Bundesversammlung den Bundesanwalt der
Schweiz wählen. Der amtierende Bundesanwalt, Michael Lauber, freut sich, Sie im Anschluss an die Wahl zu einer Medienkonferenz einzuladen.

Bundesanwalt Lauber wird sich insbesondere zu den zentralen Aufgaben der Bundesanwaltschaft äussern. Zudem wird der Bundesanwalt ein Statement abgeben zum laufen Strafverfahren rund um die Vergabe der Fussball-Weltmeisterschaften 2018 und 2022 (es sind keine
breaking news zu erwarten!). Bundesanwalt Lauber wird im Rahmen der Medienkonferenz
einige Fragen beantworten, und kurze gemeinsame TV-, Radio- sowie Print- Interviews geben. Einzelinterviews sind leider nicht möglich.
Bitte beachten Sie: Der Bundesanwalt wird nebst seinem Statement zum laufenden Strafverfahren zu den Vergaben der Fussball-Weltmeisterschaften keine weiteren Informationen geben zu dieser Thematik.

INVITATION PRESS CONFERENCE
Dear all,
This coming Wednesday, the United Federal Assembly of Switzerland will elect the Attorney
General of Switzerland. Following the election, the acting Attorney General of Switzerland,
Mr. Michael Lauber, has the honor of inviting media representatives to a press conference:

First, AG Lauber will address the key topics faced by the Office of the Attorney General of
Switzerland. Next, AG Lauber will make a statement on the ongoing criminal proceedings in
connection with the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 Football World Cups (no breaking news
to be expected!). AG Lauber will then take some questions and will be available for conjoint
short TV, radio and print interviews. Individual interviews will not be possible.
Please be advised: The Attorney General will not deliver any further information, other than
his statement concerning the ongoing Football investigation.
