Cup. Around 12th January 2016 the international skiing ladies will once again get together in snow space Flachau to
be celebrated by thousands of cheering spectators.

bietet Ihnen optimalen Service und maximalen Komfort. Die Nutzung des „Salzburg Flachau Ski Shuttles“ ist an den Kauf einer Skikarte gebunden. Auch unsere Skibuslinien in Flachau verkehren im 15-Minuten-Takt (Hauptsaison)
zwischen den einzelnen Ortsteilen und unseren drei Talstationen.

Every day from 19th December 2015 until 29th March 2016, the “Salzburg Flachau Ski Shuttle” takes winter sports fans from the city of Salzburg to the snow space Flachau ski area and back again in the evening. The free bus transfer offers all skiers and snowboarders
the best service and maximum comfort. Please note that a valid skiing pass is required for the use of the “Salzburg Flachau Ski Shuttle”. Additionally, there is a ski bus service that runs between Flachau’s districts and our three Flachau lift stations
in 15 minute intervals (during high season)

Seit 2010 ist der Audi FIS Skiweltcup Damen Nachtslalom im snow space Flachau ein Fixstern am Skihimmel. Die Veranstaltung 2015 wurde live von 14.800 Zuschauern bejubelt. Eine imposante Zuschauerkulisse, tolle
Stimmung und ein spektakuläres Rahmenprogramm werden auch das skisportliche Highlight der Wintersaison am 12. Jänner 2016 wieder begleiten und zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für die Skistars und Zuschauer gleichermaßen machen. Die Siegerin wird traditionell zur „snow space princess“ gekürt und erhält neben diesem Titel auch das am höchsten dotierte Preisgeld, das es im Damen-Skiweltcup-Zirkus zu gewinnen gibt. Insgesamt wird ein
Bruttopreisgeld von € 168.000,- ausgeschüttet. Am Vorabend der Weltcupveranstaltung findet erneut die Star Challenge „Sport & Society trifft Skitalent“, ein Charity-Event zugunsten junger Salzburger Skitalente statt.

Was viele zufriedene Familien seit Jahren ohnehin schon wussten, wurde beim Skiareatest 2015 noch einmal eindrucksvoll bestätigt – dort wurde der revolutionär günstige „Volksberg“ als „Familienskigebiet des Jahres“ und
für „Beste Kinderangebote“ ausgezeichnet. Auch das internationale Pistengütesiegel wurde dem monte popolo verliehen. Das kleine aber feine Skigebiet lockt nicht nur mit familiengerechter Preisgestaltung, sondern
zudem mit einer 6er-Sesselbahn, Kinderland, Funpark, Zeitmess- und Trainingsstrecke, Erlebnispiste mit sprechenden Figuren und urgemütlichen Hütten. Kein Wunder also, dass sich der monte popolo in Eben bei Jung und

Many happy families have known it for years and now it has once again been proved by the Skiareatest 2015: the revolutionary low-priced monte popolo is the “Family ski area of the year” and has the “Best offer for children”. Furthermore, the “popular mountain”
has received the international slope quality seal. The small but nice skiing area does not only attract visitors with its family-friendly pricing, but also with 6-seater chairlifts, a designated children’s area, a funpark, a timed and practice run, an adventure slope with
talking figures and rustic ski huts. It is therefore hardly surprising that the monte popolo is so well-liked among all age groups. Top offers for families – the 2-hour ticket for one adult and one child is available at only € 25.50. There are also low-priced offers for all-day
skiers from € 21.00. Eben is located just off the A-10 motorway, about 60 km from the city of Salzburg and it is also connected to the public rail network.
FILZMOOS – MEIN SCHÖNSTER PLATZ
Dieses idyllische Bergdorf bringt immer wieder Top-Skirennläufer, wie Michaela Kirchgasser oder Philipp Schörghofer, heraus. Das überschaubare Familienskigebiet zeichnet sich durch viel Patz auf den Pisten und somit
viel Sicherheit für Kinder und Anfänger aus. Auf der Michaela Kirchgasser FIS Strecke fühlen sich die Profis wohl und testen gern ihre Fahrtechnik. Skifahrer, die es lieber gemütlicher angehen, können sich nicht nur am
einzigartigen Bergpanorama, sondern auch an Abfahrten direkt in den Ort erfreuen. Langläufer finden auf der Höhenloipe Rossbrand 16 km Loipenvergnügen pur. Darüber hinaus sind die hervorragende Hotellerie und

FILZMOOS – MY FAVOURITE SPOT: This idyllic mountain village keeps creating top-class skiers, such as Michaela Kirchgasser or Philipp Schörghofer. The compact family skiing area offers plenty of space on the slopes and therefore a lot of safety for children and
beginners. Skilled skiers enjoy the Michaela Kirchgasser FIS run to test their techniques. Leisure skiers, on the other hand, who like to take it a bit slower, can look forward not only to the unique mountain panorama, but also to slopes that take them directly into
the village. Cross-country skiers will find 16 km of well-maintained slopes on the Rossbrand high altitude trail. Furthermore, the excellent hotels and restaurants in Filzmoos are a treat in themselves

Die Bergbahnen Flachau GmbH weisen alle Pistenbenützer darauf hin, dass mittels Netz oder Absperrband gesperrte Pistenbereiche zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit auf keinen Fall befahren werden dürfen! Gemäß § 30 des Salzburger Landessicherheitsgesetzes sind im Skigebiet Grießenkar (Gemeindegebiet Flachau) gelegene Pisten im Zeitraum von 18:00 – 08:30 Uhr aufgrund
der Seilwindenpräparierung gesperrt!Im Zuge der Windenpräparierung besteht für abfahrende Personen höchste Gefahr, weil das
Seil ruckartig in die Höhe oder auch seitlich ausschwingt und es dadurch zu lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen kommen kann. Neben den
mobilen Beschneiungsgeräten stellen oft nicht mit freiem Auge erkennbare über die Piste freiliegende Kabel und Schläuche, die
ebenfalls ein sehr großes Verletzungsrisiko für abfahrende Skifahrer dar.
