Sein Vater sitzt eine sechsmonatige Gefängnisstrafe ab, weil er einen gewissen Geldbetrag nicht zahlen kann. Aron und sein kleiner Bruder Jakob sind jetzt auf sich allein gestellt. Damit die Familie wieder zusammen sein kann, bietet ihm sein bester Freund Sascha an, das Geld für seinen Vater zu besorgen – allerdings auf illegalem Weg. Dass Aron dabei seine eigene Freiheit aufs Spiel setzt, begreift er zu spät. Aron, aged 19, faces a tough decision. His father was previously injailed for six months, therefore he and his little brother Jakob are on their own. Sascha, his best mate, offers him the opportunity to illegally get money to bring his father out of jail. The family could be reunited soon, but Aron realizes too late that he puts his own freedom at stake. Zwischenzeitig lebte er 2 Jahre im Iran. 2005 begann er sein Regiestudium an der Deutschen Film- und Fernsehakademie in Berlin. David Nawrath is born and raised in Berlin. Inbetween he lived in Iran for two years. In 2005 he started studying filmdirecting at the German Film- and Television Academy Berlin (dffb).
