Mit zunehmender Industrialisierung entwickelte sich der Bedarf an schützenden und repräsentativen Koffern, mit denen Handelsreisende ihre Waren transportieren und präsentieren konnten. Diese Nachfrage veranlasste den Schwarzwälder Handwerker Karl Faisst vor über 50 Jahren mit der Entwicklung und Herstellung professioneller Transportkoffer zu beginnen. So verließen in dem kleinen Städtchen Altensteig im nördlichen Schwarzwald im Jahre 1963 die ersten Faisst-Koffer die neu errichteten Werkstätten und begannen ihren Siegeszug in Deutschland und den angrenzenden europäischen Ländern. Noch heute ist dieser Geist der Innovationen im Hause Faisst lebendig. With increasing industrialisation, the need for protective and convenient cases with which commercial travellers could carry and present their goods, has grown significantly. This demand prompted the craftsman Karl Faisst, over 50 years ago, to begin with the development and manufacture of professional transportation cases. In 1963, the first Faisst cases left the newly built factory in Altensteig, located in the northern part of the Black Forest, and started their triumphal march around Germany and neighbouring European countries. This spirit of innovation remains alive today at Faisst. Although modern machinery supports the production of the high quality cases, it is still the people who develop and manufacture each case according to the customer’s individual requirements for the goods or products that will be transported inside.
